Status Update 6/8/18:
Oh Spike Chapter 17 is basically done and will be published Sunday.

Status Update 6/19/18:
It might be a while before you see Oh Spike Chapter 18. To say that this is where the fic gets complicated is putting it lightly. To give some insight, I have the main general idea in mind, but still tinkering with smaller ideas that add up to big story elements. The rest of these chapters are daunting to even think about, so I ask for your patience. They're done when they're done.
For the time being, there are no plans for any additional fanfics by me. I'm planning to finish the ones I started, and be done. Writing is an incredibly demanding task, and I can't see myself doing this indefinitely. You might see one more story at most (I have one idea that I haven't published yet), but even that is a long shot.

Status Update 7/25/18:
Unless there's a miracle, Chapter 18 will not come out in July. Hopefully you can expect it sometime in August.
Also, (based on potential leaks) there is a very strong likelihood that upcoming episodes of Friendship is Magic is going to invalidate/contradict my fanfiction. I am not going to alter my story in any way shape or form to fit the actual canon. If there are any contradictions, so be it. I've had this story planned for months and I'm going to see it through to the end, the way I intended all along. Thank you all for your patience, I appreciate it. The people who read these are what this possible.

Status Update 8/16/18
Some insight on Dipper's Odyssey, cause I feel like it. The amount of story for Dipper's Odyssey that I published, is only about 15% of all the ideas I came up with, or thought about incorporating. There were two endings. One ending was the obvious one, and would have cut the story short. The second ending, would have involved an entire extended story arc, which I put a lot of thought into. In the end, I wasn't satisfied with the quality I produced. Where the story is now, suffered act 2 syndrome (IE, I had no more ideas, other than to jump to the climax). So I could have added a ton of filler, or jumped to the possible end, neither felt satisfactory. In the end, the story was too ambitious, I lost interest in the idea, and felt that I hadn't done justice to either of the IPs represented.
Been thinking of doing some one off Gravity Falls stories again. I connect with the characters on such a deep level, but don't count on any more one offs. Stories would be a nice way to vent, but I take story writing so seriously, that I can't ease up and publish whatever. I have a meet a certain quality standard I set for myself. So for the time being, my random thoughts will remain as thoughts, unless there's a demand.

I felt a great disturbance in the force. As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
(In all seriousness. I think that that episode either just aired, or is going to air very soon. And well... whatever. Molt Down already killed me inside, I can't imagine what that episode will do to me. I am not going to see it until it airs in the U.S., that's just what I do. Like I said though, if the canon invalidates my fiction, so be it. I am still going to go through and make my story the way I want.)

Did I say Chapter 19 was coming along great? What I meant to say was, it was almost done, but looking at it now, I'm now toying with the idea of rearranging everything. So not quite done just yet. Probably not coming out this week, but instead when it's truly ready.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the next chapter is probably going to take some time. I've been very busy, have had hardly any time to sit down and do some solid writing. Not to mention, once again, this next chapter is very complicated and hard to write. I'll probably still meet the monthly chapters goal, but we'll see.

The chapters now all have unique names. This is something I've thought about doing for a while now, but only just now decided to do it. Titles are prone to change. Or I may change it back to no titles.

Oh Spike We Hardly Knew Thee:
What started as a simple idea I had, has become more ambitious than I anticipated. Still fun to work on.
I really want to finish this story. I want to try to aim for monthly chapters, maybe sooner, maybe later.

KO and Dendy's Playdate:
Just a little fun one off story I wanted to do. It's a very cute story, I'm quite pleased with it.

Dipper's Odyssey:
I want to finish the story, but ideas are all over the place for what I want the story to be. I'll get around to it, but it could take a while.
UPDATE 6/19: I owe you guys a proper update on Dipper's Odyssey, but this will do in the mean time. The short of it is, you guessed it, I lost interest in the premise. The fic was way too ambitious, and that was ultimately its downfall. Too many ideas and very few came together, and I was never fully satisfied with the product. That being said, I have a full outline in mind (IE, I know what's going to happen, it's just a matter of it materializing into readable material). Never say never, but I wouldn't hold your breath. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone.

It's okay, but thematically it's a mess in my opinion. I could finish it, it's almost finished, but no one's clamoring for it, so eh. Maybe some day.

A Fabel of Remembrance:
An idea I came up with from a dream. One of my favorite stories. 10 chapters and 21,364 words published in only 7 weeks, which I still can't believe considering how long the Oh Spike is taking.

For every story I publish, I have about seven more semi-stories that I don't publish. Just because you can think it, doesn't always mean it'll make a good story. If I published every thought I had, it'd all be pretty similar. I save published stories for unique ideas.

Oh Spike will likely be my only My Little Pony fiction for a while. Oh Spike is a special case where I had an idea, and I really wanted to pursue it. And now it's snowballed into a really big story. I'm not that interested in this moment of writing other smaller MLP fics, as I don't have any other ideas at this time. Basically every idea I could have I'm cramming into Oh Spike.
