Author has written 1 story for Star Trek: 2009.

Greetings to everyone! Well, this account has been around for a while now, but I haven't really been using it much at all, except perhaps for one rather ill-fated story which has fallen by the wayside and which I believe I shall not pick up again. In the meantime, though, I've made a return to the Star Trek fandom after years and years of standing on the sidelines and enjoying it without posting any of the fanfiction I've written for it. Considering the product that's coming out, many of which are of good quality, I believed it to be an embarrassing thing to post what I had written.

That has changed, of course, with the appearance of the latest movie. Not only does it provide a fresh playground for me to play in, it also grants me an opportunity to write about Star Trek without many of the constraints that need to be followed if one were to write in the Prime Universe, as it were. While I will still draw heavily upon the Prime Reality episodes for material, the new Alternate Reality allows me to bend a few rules - something for which I am extremely grateful.

At any rate, the first story I am posting is a very, very old story I wrote a long time ago, reworked and retooled to fit the Alternate Reality as presented in the most recent movie. What the original story was will also be told, though in a different fashion.

In the meantime, I hope the readers find this work of mine entertaining, and that if there is any cause for complaint, I would be grateful if they are directed to me with politeness and decency.
