Hello there. I am AJ Wright aka NightElflady.

In August 2016 I first aired some of my scribblings following encouragement from my daughters. Both keen writers themselves in fanfiction, they said I should I try writing some myself and suggested it be related to World of Warcraft; with me being an avid player of the game for nigh on ten plus years. So I did, and my!! Is it fun to do!

I'm a soppy girl at heart and I admit therefore my stories are romance/passion-driven. I enjoy trying to reach my readers emotionally and hope I can make them smile and laugh as well as gasp or cry as they journey with my characters. Currently, the stories have my O/C's interacting with recognised NPC's from Warcraft.

I am also on various other sites including Wattpad (under the username @NightElflady) where I incorporate artwork and soundtracks for the stories I write.

I hope you enjoy my efforts, they have been tremendous fun to write (sometimes a little harrowing and sad too, but a mix is necessary after all)

My works began with a series, again Warcraft based, affectionately known as The Sarah & Khadgar Chronicles. There are 4 of those:

"The Legion's Catalyst" Book 1 "The Dark Times Will Pass" Book 2 "Azeroth Unfolding" Book 3 "A Raven's Tale" Book 4

"Rogue Firefury" is an off-shoot from the 2nd book in the Sarah & Khadgar Chronicles, picking up the life-story of the blood elf demon hunter, Tiene Firefury, and her life prior to becoming part of the Illidari. "Sauren - The Twisted Blade" (a work in progress) is another off-shoot, this time from Rogue in which the background to the character Sauren Nightflame is uncovered.

Other works on Wattpad:

Short stories: THE GATEWAY (a smattering are Warcraft based - THE LONELY BANSHEE and FROM THE SKIES SHE CAME to name two) but also contained is a variety of themes.

Paranormal/Horror: THE WOMAN ANNELIDA - new owners of a mansion are visited by a ghost with grisly intent.

Vampire and Fallen Angels: TIDES OF SORROW, THE CRIMSON FLOW and THE RISE OF HAVEL - a trilogy.

Comic based: I am part of collaboration of writers, artists (and hopefully, in due course, musicians) who are building a fantasy/mystical universe called Earth-F, based on the obsolete 1930s-1940s comics (Public Domain) Fox Features. We each have characters we are developing. I have two books completed for ZANZIBAR the MAGICIAN and will soon be uploading one about the SORCERESS OF ZOOM.
