Author has written 2 stories for Labyrinth, and Moana. Bio: I am a young thirty-something Texan (born and raised), a loving (sometimes) wife, and a mother of three crazy children (15, 6, and 2). And if you are paying enough attention to detail to do the "math" - I did not have a child in my teenage years, my teenager is a stepchild. Who I love, but is crazy. The same can be said for my two other children and is most definitely true about my husband. (Therefore, it must be genetic and his fault... ) On any given day, I am dealing with extreme hyperactivity, emotional ("mental") breakdowns, and a whole lotta sass. So I like to write to relax... and escape. Ironically, my penname was chosen not because my family has nearly driven me mad, but because 'nearly a maniac' is an anagram for my name. (Go figure...) What I like: I love to read, so much so, that I wish I could get paid to do it. (Isn't that true for most of us here on this site?) I enjoy singing with my 2 year old, playing retro style video games, cooking/baking when I haven't procrastinated, and large, extended family board game nights. I like to write, but still need to learn more techniques and get a lot more experience before I'll become more comfortable with my work. Any critics or suggestions are always welcome! Stories: My main story at the moment is Rerun. Which is a mash-up of "The Labyrinth" and "Groundhog Day". Summary: After her adventure in the Labyrinth, Sarah is planning to change her life for the better and start fresh with her family. Unfortunately, time has other plans... Stuck in a magical time-loop, Sarah is forced to rerun the Labyrinth over and over again. With no way of knowing how to stop it, Sarah is going to need all the help she can get, too bad it seems only she can remember the previous day. Sarah must fight to end the cycle somehow, but there's nothing wrong with having a little fun along the way ... is there? |
