I'm currently in college, majoring in English. I hope one day to be a published author, and maybe someday you guys will want to write fanfiction about my stuff! Wouldn't that be trippy? Anyway, I watch whatever anime I can, given that I live in the deep south (Alabama) and anime isn't exactly the hottest thing around down here, and I'm too poor to buy my own. I'm mostly stuck to what comes on Adult Swim (ATHF and Venture Bros. rock my face!). I really like Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Read or Die, Gundam Wing (although I havn't seen it since I was 16, so my tastes may have changed without my knowing), Furi Kuri (or Fooly Cooly, whichever way you like to say it), and others that I'm too lazy to type. Books include Harry Potter (of course), The Da Vinci Code (if you havn't read it, go out and get it...the writing style is simple but the little tidbits of thought-provoking information are simply divine), Night (by Elie Weisel...absolutely the most powerful book I have ever read), The Brothers Karamozov (Dostoevsky was a genius), and hundreds of others.

I pretty much write fanfiction for fun and practice. I have original fiction that I keep to myself and to a few select friends. I also very much enjoy writing poetry, and personally I think my poetry is better than my fiction. School and work take up a lot of my time, so updates and new stories are few and far between. Sorry about that. I would really like to build my own webpage to house my stuff and some of my favorite works...it's really hard to find good, quality fanfiction out there. Sadly, I'm pretty retarded when it comes to stuff like that, and I'm already pressed for time so a webpage would be just one more thing to worry about. Oh well.
