![]() Author has written 3 stories for Pride and Prejudice. Hi, I'm Aubrey Anderson and I am a biracial writer of JAFF fanfiction--primarily of the Pride and Prejudice variety. I have been a huge fan of fanfiction ever since I was 12 years old--I started out reading Harry Potter and Inuyasha fanfiction on this very site--and now I'm writing some of my favorites, for fun and to publish. Some of my favorites to read are: Scandal (Shonda Rimes is giving me a heart attack with the show, and I need Olivia/Fitz fanfiction, before it all went to pot to keep me going) Harry Potter (HeraldofDreams on is a favorite of mine, and I'm still waiting on WhiteDwarf from this site and her amazing story, The Art of Hidden Personas) Twilight (I find it way better than the books or films, lol) Pride and Prejudice (of course) Sense and Sensibility (planning to write some of those next year, to share) Supernatural (this is what got me watching the show!) Avengers Daredevil (I totally ship Frank and Karen-and have you all watched Jessica Jones yet?!?!?!)I am a self published author, with Amazon, Kobo, and Nook. My facebook page. My author page. In this Pride and Prejudice variation, a tragic carriage accident leaves Mr. Bennet in a coma from which they are certain he shall never awaken, and robs Jane Bennet's of her status as the most eligible woman in Hertfordshire. Facing the fact that they have no head of household, the remaining Bennets are forced to contact their cousin, the elder Mr. Collins, the rightful heir to Longborn, and his son, Mr. William Collins. It soon becomes painfully clear that Elizabeth is the key to their futures, as she is informed that after her father dies, she shall be presented with a choice: marry Mr. William Collins or her family will be forced to leave Longbourn. Compelled to endure, Elizabeth chooses Mr. Collins and has no hope of any other option until news spreads of a Mr. Bingley arriving at Netherfield Hall. It is at that Meryton assembly that Elizabeth is introduced to Mr. Darcy, she is unaware that he will be her salvation. This Pride and Prejudice explores the possibilities of a less prejudiced Elizabeth Bennet, the bonds of family and sisterly affections, and the importance of making the correct choices. 2. A Fortuitous Encounter In this Pride and Prejudice Variation Novella, a prideful Fitzwilliam Darcy seeks out a prejudiced Elizabeth Bennet during her favorite walk in the woods. His intention? To warn the object of his newfound affection against the charming, yet perfidious cad, Mr. Wickham--mere days before the Netherfield Ball. This Pride and Prejudice Novella explores the ramifications of a surprise meeting between our hero and heroine, and the themes of friendship and parenthood--the loyalty that binds the two for life. 3. Consequence of Jealousy In the wilds of Hertfordshire, Caroline Bingley knew that she was without equal--especially as the reputed "Bennet Beauties" failed to hold a candle to her beauty, fashion, and comportment. So why did she have to watch the gentleman of her dreams, Fitzwilliam Darcy, find himself ensnared by a pair of "fine eyes"? Even worse, it was not only Mr. Darcy that had been ensnared, but her brother as well, by the beautiful Miss Jane Bennet. The situation did not improve, to Caroline's dismay, as Miss Bennet's dinner invitation ends in her illness and the arrival of her impertinent sister, Miss Eliza. It is on the last night of their stay, that tempers flare, and then cool with the knowledge that the Bennet sisters shall soon be gone from Netherfield, and away from Charles and Mr. Darcy. And yet. Soon thereafter, rumours begin to spread of Miss Eliza and Mr. Darcy being seen in a compromising position at Netherfield! To Caroline's dismay, Mr. Darcy and Miss Eliza become engaged almost immediately, yet she cannot find it within her to accept defeat. Join Elizabeth and Darcy as they ask themselves the most important questions that pertain to marriage, love, and family, while also making new friendships, and discovering each other's true character in a time of adversity. 4. A Narrow Escape Still reeling from Mr. Darcy's ill-fated proposal, a bewildered Elizabeth Bennet returns home to face yet another challenge: her sister Lydia has been invited to Brighton, putting her on the path towards the dastardly Mr. Wickham. Confessing her newfound knowledge of Mr. Wickham's dealings summons a man she had hoped never to see again, Mr. Darcy. Can a series of conversations change a disastrous outcome? 5. A Persuasive Conversation In the original Pride and Prejudice story, Caroline Bingley is informed by several gossips at the Netherfield ball that they are expecting her brother, Charles Bingley and local beauty, Jane Bennet to be married by Christmas. Alarmed by this news, Caroline, Mrs. Hurst, and Mr. Darcy immediately set out for London to persuade Charles Bingley to stay. This Pride and Prejudice short story explores how the guests of Netherfield Park receive this news and where the story continues from there. What is Caroline Bingley's reaction to the news that her brother is expected to propose to Jane Bennet soon? How does she persuade Mr. Darcy to speak to Charles Bingley about the expectations that have arisen? What are Mr. Darcy's thoughts about leaving Elizabeth Bennet in Hertfordshire? 6. A Material Lesson For Pride and Prejudice readers seeking previously unseen scenes from the original novel by Jane Austen. This is a standalone series of 10 separate short stories that may be read in any order. In the original Pride and Prejudice, shortly after the Netherfield ball, Charles Bingley is convinced that his love for Jane Bennet is unrequited. Heartbroken, he gives up Netherfield and stays in London, accompanied by his sisters and best friend, Fitzwilliam Darcy. How did Mr. Darcy convince the lovesick Mr. Bingley that his affections were not returned? How did Mr. Darcy feel after his confrontation with Elizabeth Bennet at the Netherfield ball? What plans do Caroline and Louisa have for Charles and Miss Georgiana Darcy? |
