Author has written 2 stories for Final Fantasy X, and Love Hina.

Not that anyone gives a rat's fat arse one way or another, but here's a bit of info on me:

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Height: 6'

Weight: 170ish (varies)

Package: 8" x 2" x 1.5"

Orientation: Straight

Areas of interest: Final Fantasy, Halo, Marathon, Cowboy Bebop, Legos, Red Dwarf, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, video games in general, swords, computers, martial arts (particularly Aikido), Dagorhir, books, Lord of the Rings, peanut butter, and about fifty dozen-odd other things besides, I grow bored with these lists.

Things I don't like: pointless wars, George W. Bush and his Dick(less) former Vice Smeghead, broussel sprouts, idiots that think they can get away with treating good people badly in my presence, not having a job, and whoever the guy was that directed Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, especially the latter of those two.

Origin of username: In several Final Fantasy titles, there has been the concept of the Weapons, gigantic biomechanical entities with unnaturally tremendous power. Often, the Omega Weapon is the last/ultimate/most powerful of these, but what use is a Weapon without a Warrior to wield it? Hence my name, and a concept: an ultimate era-ending warrior's spirit that comes in numerous forms, but always ends up being the last one standing or the ultimate victor. Think of it as an era ender, something capable of ending one state of affairs and bringing about a new one. Omega: the End. As for the 42, read Hitchhiker's Guide and you'll understand it better.

Why I write: because I damn well feel like it.

Current projects: three fanfics (one currently being published, two more in progressive development after having clawed their way past four or five other, lesser ideas I had lately), one Lego Spaceship Ragnarok mk. II (from Final Fantasy VIII, first model was dismantled for various reasons, final version of second model expected to be about 5-6' long and about 1.5-2' wide and high, complete with moveable landing arms, mega cannon on underbelly, and possibly NXT-controlled reactive programming for targeting purposes, etc.), one Dagorhir two-handed battle ax (4.5-5' in length), one round buckler-styled Dagorhir shield (at least 12" diameter, modeled for ease of one- and two-handed weapon usage), one Halo 3 Foundry or Sandbox map specifically designed for Monty Python's Holy Grail-styled catapaulting of random objects and farm animals over castle walls. Don't ask.

Update: 8/19/10

As LH:UtF slowly but surely grinds its way to completion, I thought I'd give a shout out to anyone that's remotely interested about the other two fics I've been working on (but haven't posted any of as yet). The first is an idea that's been bouncing around in my head for a while now, that basically concerns a What-If crossover scenario involving two very different series: Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Halo. Before you ask "WTF!?" and start the proverbial flamethrowers, consider the ramifications of the Master Chief at the controls of an EVA, ignoring for a moment the improbability of such an occurrence. It IS feasible, considering A) the nature of his relationship to Cortana as compared to an EVA and pilot, B) the unexplained methodology by which the Halo rings operate, and C) the fact that getting a "Demon" to help fight so many "Angels" makes a surprising amount of sense in the long run. Tentative title for this fic, when I get around to posting it: Adaemonion Catalysis.

The other is something I've always wanted to do: a novelization of the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. As is in my nature, of course, it won't follow the storyline EXACTLY to the letter, and will, in fact, deviate from it to focus on Link and Zelda in relation to one another to a much higher degree. I'll put it to you this way: don't expect the former to leave the latter hanging about in the Sanctuary...

Update: 10/30/10

Work continues on UtF, and I've begun revisions of the old chapters as well. At the same time, I'm working on the NGE/Halo crossover I mentioned before, and have settled upon a title. (Now, if I could just settle on where and when, exactly, to set the beginning, I can start weaving the other parts I've already written together and start posting!)

It will be called Ultima Veritas Adaemonion.

The term Adaemonion is a play on Evangelion, itself a derivative of the same root that brings us the terms "angel" and "evangelist"; it is my own term, not to be found in other sources, so don't look it up. It combines "Adam" (obvious implications there) with daemon, a version of Demon (reference to the Master Chief's nickname among his enemies). Ultima Veritas is a reference to the purpose of the fic, to draw upon the background of both storylines and find the common line of truth between them.
