Well, I figured I should probably write one of these.

I'm not terribly interesting though, so rather than natter on, I'll give you a brief rundown of my various fics, and of some of the major themes that run throughout my stories.

Hard Choices. One of the things that I feel is a defining trait of good fiction is that there is an element of choice. Rangers for the most part don't get to choose to be Rangers, they are destined to be. As Tommy once said, the gem picks the Ranger, not the other way round.

Man versus himself. Everyone, except in bad fiction, has both good and bad qualities. Oftentimes who we are is determined by our ability to rise above our flaws, and do justice to our strengths. Sometimes a character has to go through real darkness to find out if they have the strength of will to do what they need to.

Ascendancy
Ascendancy: The Rangers get their hands on a crystal that seems to give them glimpses of another, darker dimension, and even leads to some people from that dimension crossing over. Suitably distracted, Mesogog manages to get the upper hand untill Trent manages to give Conner an opening to finish off Mesogog for good. Unfortunately there is always a price to pay for victory.

Wicked
I only write drabbles for Wicked the musical, because I think the show does a pretty good job of telling the story. There are just odd moments that I feel could be expanded on.

DragonBall Z
Vegeta's rivalry with Goku was always one of the more interesting threads in DBZ and DBGT, and I was never entirely satisfied with the ending of GT, (issues of quality of the series notwithstanding) because Goku's departure was as much a defining moment for Vegeta as it was for Goku.
