How I got introduced to fanfics: I saw a video of a theory about Elsa and Anna, how their dynamic in the first movie was very romantic, and then the shorter video came out where the evidence he presented actually made sense, a Norwegian hat, a red string and other small stuff. Then I started reading some Frozen and Legend of Korra stories. I thought, hey I can do that too. And here I am.

A long while later I've a point where I want to drastically improve myself before continuing.

I feel stuck and inarticulate in my stories, I seem to rush through events and in turn it becomes a mess, any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
