What's up, fanfiction.net? My name is Xenoprime1337, and I'm here to shake things up a little. I'm a college student whose current side job is writing fanfiction. It wasn't always like this, though.

I've always wanted to write fanfiction, but for the longest time, I never knew where to put it.

Thankfully, now I do. Right here, for all of you to see!

As to what kind of fanfiction I write...well, that's another story entirely.

Fanfiction Description

When I write fanfiction, I like to think I keep to the feel of the fictional universe I'm writing in. However, there are some common elements in my work that need to be accounted for.

1. A lot of my work is action-oriented. I don't care if it's a Y7 television show, a Younger Teen manga, or a rated M for Mature game; if the name Xenoprime1337 follows the title of any given fanfiction, you're probably going to see a lot of action, and possibly some blood.
2. My work almost always contains swearing. How severe the swearing gets is entirely dependent on what universe I'm dealing with. A Soul Eater fanfiction, for instance, is going to have way more swearing and way stronger swearing than a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction. Don't worry. I will always give you a swearing warning when I post my fanfiction. I'm cool like that.
3. My fanfiction almost always contains OCs. (That's short for Original Characters, in case you were unaware.) Whether it's a future fanfiction or not, my stories almost always center around a character I've created for a certain universe. Never assume that there's only one, though. My work is usually riddled with OCs. If it's solely an OC story, you'll usually find that it's a self-insert story as well. If you can figure out which OC in the story is based on me, I'll be most impressed.
4. While I do like to work with the canon sometimes, I usually do future fanfiction or AU fanfiction. (AU is short for Alternate Universe, just so you know. I can't imagine you don't, but, hey, it can't hurt to be careful.)

Taking all of this into account, I bet you're wondering what my writing style is like. (You know, aside from what I've given you here.) I would love to tell you, but I'm afraid I'm just too lazy to do that. You'll have to go and find that out for yourself.

Fanfiction Plans

Below is where I will list my published fanfiction, as well as my upcoming projects. The list below will be changing continuously, so be sure to check for updates. Who knows? I might actually write a story in a universe you care about. As for the formatting of the list, this is what you need to know:

Next to the Title of each fic on this list is a short snippet about what the fic is about.

Directly below that is the fic's Status, which can be one of four things: In Progress, On Hiatus, Coming Soon, and Unavailable.

After that is the status update, which, depending on what the Status of a given fic is, will either tell you how a chapter's going, why the fic is on hold, how close the first chapter is to being published, or why the fic won't be published any time soon. If the status is bold, it's usually something important. The fics are listed top to bottom in terms of relevance, with the most relevant fics being toward the top.

In short, if you want to know what's happening, you gotta watch these status updates, people!

RDNC: This is a RWBY fanfiction. It's an AU OC story that centers on a group of Beacon students on their path to becoming huntsmen. Self-inserts? Hell, yeah!

Status: In Progress. I will try and write a little bit every day. Prologue 3 of this will probably come first, which will be closely followed by Chapter 3 of H:R. Hopefully I can get Chapter 5 of TNGoS, and Chapter 1 of TCToVA to you guys next. I'm still alive, and Prologue 3 is close to being done. Stick with me!

It's That Bitch Again: Not sure if I'm going to keep this title, but this will hopefully be an OC story set in Grand Theft Auto V. The main character? She's my avatar in the online version of the game, and she's a badass. Crime, guns, and plenty of violence and swearing. With friends!

Status: In Progress. Chapter 1 is officially out! Yay!

Huniepop: Rebound: Hey, look! A dating simulator fanfiction! Don't worry, it'll only be dirty in terms of language. This fic follows a new protagonist in a new town with a gaggle of new girls to date. Now that I've thought about it, it doesn't take place in an AU, but it does have plenty of OCs.

Status: In Progress. Chapter 3 is coming along nicely. I may be busy with my original work, but I still have plans for this story. Rest assured, Chapter 3 will come out before too long. It's the other stories that I'm worried about as far as a time frame goes.

The Curious Tale of Vivian Aldonath: Welp, now I've done it. This is a Monster Hunter: World fic starring my in-game character, Vivian. I will say up front that this is not the story of the protagonist of the game, though that will provide a framework for what I plan to do here. Instead, this fic will recount my character's unique take on the events of the story, and her exploits in monster hunting. She will have her own handler, her own palico, and her own path to take. This may or may not include my friend's characters should they decide to make an appearance. Bear in mind that this is a working title.

Status: Coming Soon. I have invested a stupidly large amount of time into this game. Safe to say, this fic is already in the works. It just might be my next fic after ITBA. I'm way too invested in the game at this point to not write the story as soon as humanly possible. I'll probably write Chapter 1 of this alongside Chapter 5 of TNGoS.

The Next Generation of Souls: A fanfiction that dives into the future of the Soul Eater manga universe. Riddled with OCs, because...you know...it's a future fic. No self-inserts here, though.

Status: In Progress.

Liquid Courage: This is an OC story set in the world of Wakfu. I've always had an interest in this series, and I want to do something cool with it. Now, I have my chance to create characters and explore the World of Twelve. Still a working title, by the way.

Status: Unavailable. Season 3 just got released, yo! I'm super hyped, and I'm currently re-watching the entire show and the movies to get all the info I need to write the story. This will be a future fic, but it won't focus on the next generation of the main cast...not really. This will be my OCs doing cool stuff and being awesome in The World of Twelve. That said, given how dense yet sparse the lore is, I'll have to use some outside sources to get all of this straight, or wait till Season 4 comes out. Either way, this one's getting delayed. Sorry.

Soul Eater: Aside: A Soul Eater fanfic that's set during the canon of the manga. It's a self-insert OC story including me and some of my colleagues.

Status: Unavailable. This project might actually be retired and have its assets moved into TNGoS. Those assets may appear in the epilogue, which could turn into a story of its own. Back to square one, am I right? One thing's for sure, this project will never die, not really. It might just take a different form.

Her Name is California: This is a Red vs. Blue AU fic with OCs. Apparently, I like this idea. So I'm going to do it. Eventually.

Status: Unavailable. I have big plans for this fic, but it probably won't happen until I get through the introductory chapters of RDNC.

Black Sand: Another title I'm unsure about. This is a Mortal Kombat X story set in an AU where Erron Black is hired to kill everyone he's ever fought. Everyone. (I was inspired by Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. This is my way of saying that I really enjoyed reading it.)

Status: Unavailable. Ugh, another idea that'll come later. I'm just keeping my options open. Plus, I really like this idea. I think people need to give MKX's gunslinger a shot in the spotlight.

The Metallix War: This is an idea a buddy of mine and I had a while back. It's basically World War III with robots and hedgehogs. This Sonic the Hedgehog fic is set in a future AU for just such a reason. Hardly anything is canon other than the characters, and even then, I'd say that's a stretch.

Status: Unavailable. This is going to be a long project, so don't expect this one anytime soon.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Retold: One of the many Retold stories I plan to do for the Sonic the Hedgehog games. Basically, it's my take on the story, whatever that's worth. Expect some good action, and something fun for fans of the series. You can think of it as a story set in an AU where everything makes more sense, and where violence and mild swearing abound.

Status: Unavailable. Another long project, seeing as how I'm going to have to go through all three stories the game did and make it all connect in a logical way. Don't expect this one anytime soon.

The Trinity: Yet another title I'm unsure of. This is a Destiny OC fic that follows my three in-game characters, with my friend's characters making appearances as well. Violence and fun spacey things await! Oh, and one of my characters swears profusely. Just a heads-up.

Status: Unavailable. I will do this one...later. Whether or not it extends into Destiny 2 depends on whether or not this thing does well.

L.O.S.E.R. This one is an action and comedy fic starring the future versions of your favorite losers from the League of Super Evil...Reinstated. Please don't shoot me! This is just for fun! Plus, I think this series needs a little love. My special kind of crazy, bloody, action-packed love. This is going to be a future fic with OCs, because of course I can.

Status: Unavailable. I'll have to do my research for this one, and that means going back and watching all the episodes. Luckily, last I checked, the whole show is on Netflix. I remember liking the show, and this is my way of saying I had fun with it.

Shot in the Dark: You didn't think I was done coming up with ideas, did you? This is a Slime Rancher OC fic I've had in the old idea tank for quite a while. I just noticed that this cute little game actually has a foothold on this site, and I want to help it grow. All I really need to get this fic going is the Slimepedia entries and general lore. I don't think this fic will be set in an AU, but it will follow my OC Adelaide instead of Beatrix Le Beaux, the protagonist of the actual game.

Status: Unavailable. This one requires no research other than what I know exists in the Slimepedia, and seeing what happens at the end of the game. I just want to make sure I have everything ready before I jump in, which might require me to play the game for myself.

ZPD's Finest: The Belmonte Brothers: This is an OC fic set in the world of Zootopia a few months after the end of the movie. Watch as these badass brothers take on the nastiest of crooks and the weirdest of cases alongside the likes of Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

Status: Unavailable. I have an idea for where I want this story to go, but I haven't come up with an ending for the first case you'll see the brothers tackle. Until I figure that out, this story will be on the back burner.

An Impossible Debt: This is a Kung Fu Panda OC future fic. It has been years since Po defeated Kai. Now, each member of the Furious Five is the master of their own dojo, while The Dragon Warrior has set up shop in his place of birth high in the mountains. Master Tigress has taken over the Jade Palace, and is hard at work forming her own Furious Five. Enter Cheng, a red panda that has spent his entire life stealing and picking fights to survive. He comes to what is now known as Jade Hope Village looking for an easy meal, but ends up getting himself arrested. Tigress spares Cheng's life, but holds him to an impossible debt in exchange: to learn the secrets of kung fu under her and become the fifth member of the Jade Palace's new Furious Five.

Status: Unavailable. I couldn't really see the crossover fic that originally took this spot going anywhere, so I decided to take another swing at a self-insert fic. Like most things on this list, don't expect it anytime soon. I love the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, but I'll save this one for another time. Don't worry, though, I won't replace this project with another project...probably.

Brawlhalla: Legends Live On: This series will follow the warriors of Valhalla in a slice-of-life kind of way. There'll be plenty of action, and some interesting twists and turns in the plot. Yes, there is a loose plot. Story's gotta go somewhere, you know what I'm saying?

Status: Unavailable. Brawlhalla has been officially released! After looking over the backstories of each legend, I've realized that trying to recount each legend's backstory will take far too long and require too much effort. If I followed through with my original plan, this fic would never get started. What I've decided to do instead is to see how many legends get added to the game, then start this story, setting it at a point in time where all or almost all of the legends in the game have arrived in Valhalla. I can do my slice-of-life shenanigans and add legends into the story whenever I want, and explore individual backstories whenever I want. Count on this fic, just not quite yet.

Codename: Blackbird: Oh, how I love my working titles. This is a Titanfall 2 fanfiction centering on OCs with specialized Titans beating the shit out of each other for your amusement. And mine, now that I think about it. If that interests you, let me know. I really like Titanfall 2, and it doesn't have a whole lot of stories dedicated to it on this site. This is my way of saying 'thank you for a great campaign and a fun (and sometimes frustrating) multiplayer'.

Status: Unavailable. I'm still working on characters and Titans for this, and I've also decided to get help from friends. This one isn't going to come out any time soon. HNIC will probably come out before this does.

Maddie Universe: Before you all freak out, no, I am not gender bending Steven Universe. (C'mon, whaddya take me for?) No, I'm creating an AU. What if Mr. Universe had a more decent manager in Marty? What if he went to Empire City and played the best show of his life? What if he came back to Beach City years later only to get tangled up in crazy Crystal Gem adventures? What if he fell in love with a Crystal Gem other than Rose Quartz and had a daughter named Madeline?

Status: Unavailable. At this point, I'm just dreaming. I dunno if I'll include my OCs in this AU or give them their own AU or just mold them into the canon somehow, but any way you slice it, this ain't coming out any time soon. I want the series to actually come to a close before I start this up. Not that I want it to end anytime soon, mind you. This show is awesome! Also, this is the last project I'm putting up here on this list until I actually complete one of my other projects. I have too many projects as it is. From now on, I'll have to replace an old project for a new project if I want to add something to this list.

Final Thoughts

While my update schedule will be very random, I will keep updating. I don't plan on stopping writing anytime soon, and while I can't guarantee an update schedule, I can guarantee an update. I'm kind of a procrastinator, so...there you go. Plus, life can get pretty busy. Now that I'm in college, I'll have to juggle writing, classes, and social interactions all at once. Not to mention all of the other random shit I do. As much as I would love to sit in my chair and write fanfiction forever and ever, I can't. I wish I could, but I can't.

Also, like everyone else in the world, I am not perfect. I realize this. I also realize that, sometimes, I'll miss an error or two before I publish a chapter. Because of this, I will constantly be going back and rereading my fanfiction. If I see something, I will fix it. This can range from fixing small grammatical mistakes and continuity errors to rewriting whole paragraphs that don't feel right. I also revisit my previous chapters a lot, and I edit them constantly. Big changes or tiny tweaks, it doesn't matter. That said, I do have Beta readers...who happen to be good friends of mine. Don't worry though, they don't sugarcoat anything when it comes to my work. Trust me.

On the subject of reviews, I am open to your suggestions and guidance. As I said, I'm not perfect, so anything you say will be taken into account on some level. Constructive criticism is not only allowed, but encouraged. Just don't beat me over the head, alright? That's what my friends are for. Depending on the story, you may have a say in the plot of the story, or how characters interact, or even how certain events happen. (See Huniepop: Rebound if you want to see what is currently my one and only example of this.)

Oh, and another thing! At the beginning of every chapter, I will leave responses to some of your reviews, along with some of my notes on the chapter, if there are any. I got this idea from one of my favorite authors on this site, FourthDistraction, who is awesome, by the by. You should totally look her up. She's awesome.
