Author has written 6 stories for Phantom of the Opera. Wow...it's been a long time since I've been here! I hate it when Real Life gets in your way (as cliche as that sounds...). Anyway, since I took a super extended absence from writing I managed to graduate from College (how I don't really know...) and since graduating I've joined the thousands of people who can't get a job, go me. So I decided that while I'm on the job hunt I could probably put my mind to good use and hopefully start writing again...I know I left people in a lurch when I unexpectedly stopped my most recent story, I offer my humble apologies and hope to get back to work on it. Since it's been such a long time I'm afraid I lost focus on 'A Life so Changed', once I get myself back on track that story will be finished. Please bear with me as I do all this. I'm 26 years old, I first fell in love with Phantom in 8th grade when I had the opportunity to go see it on Broadway. I hadn't realized there was such a huge diverse fan base for Phantom until the movie was released. Since the release of the movie, my muse has been clamoring for my attention and the stories that had been swirling around in my head for years and years could be ignored no longer. So I took a chance and posted some of my works here. My writing is inspired by all mediums of Phantom, Susan Kay's novel, the original novel by Gaston Leroux and ALW's musical. Two of my stories have featured another woman as Erik's romantic interest. As of right now I have five stories posted. My first one is a period fic, 'Can I Love Again?' with a new character of my own, Lady Victoria De Chagny sister of Raoul and Erik's love interest. This is a retelling of the original story, only with Victoria added in. My second story is 'A New Life' . It is a modern day time travel fic, with a new character Jenna. She is Erik's love interest as she brings him out into society and helps him adjust to 2005. My third work and first attempt at E/C is called 'A Child's love so pure' . It's the story of Erik and Christine 6 years after the events at the Opera, and he discovers he has a daughter. It's a short fic, not long like my other two. My Fouth story is a Modern Day Retelling. Ordinary Girl is finally done! Woohoo! It took me long enough I know. My most recent story 'A Life So Changed' is still in progress, unfortunatly I lost my way with the storyline (along with the last few chapters I had written) so once I figure out what I'm going to do with our dear Christina and Erik I will post the next chapters ASAP. As I'm without my Beta it will take a little more time to get my thoughts on paper...my mind is a strange, strange thing and trying to organize my thoughts is like herding chickens at times...so bear with me, I promise I will get the story going again as soon as possible. |
