Author has written 8 stories for Nashville. 5/1/17 Honestly, I'm losing enthusiasm for the fandom, which makes it very hard to write. I love Avery and Juliette but this season has been disappointing in a lot of ways and I'm pretty sure I won't be watching when the hiatus is over. I'm doing my best to finish my remaining open stories before the second half of the season starts. 12/31/2016 One year ago today I published my first fanfic for Nashville, Celebrate Me Home. This year of writing has been so good for my creative spirit, as I hadn't written in years before I started that story. I owe Nashville a huge debt of gratitude for rekindling this passion. Fun fact, Celebrate Me Home was sparked by a conversation I heard in the Made for TV store in a mall. Someone mentioned a white elephant party and the thought struck me that it was something Gunnar would do. I love this story because it uses a lot of the cast and I can only hope their voices and actions ring true. Sleep Habits holds a special place for me. I enjoy writing about the moments we don't see in the show and I thought it'd be fun to explore the happenings behind the scenes on that ill-fated tour. I love writing the angsty, emotional stuff! The Things We Do is the kind of fanfic I'll probably continue to write after S5 starts (if I continue writing during the new season), short little oneshots that explore a scene or an episode. As We Are - I enjoy writing the angst so much it was difficult for me to write the fluff! I imagined this story to be Juliette's more than anything, just one version of how Juliette might deal with her career/marriage/motherhood after the plane crash. Long Road to Home - still working on it and I pray I finish it before the season starts. I'd love to have a clean slate because I really want to sit back and enjoy this brand new season and see what changes new the showrunners make. Hopefully there's good, sweet Javery moments that will lead to them reconciling. |
