 Author has written 14 stories for Grimm. I've been reading fan fiction for a year or two, but I've been an avid reader all my life. After my mind has been playing stories out forever, I'm finally giving place to my muse. You will see elements and gems from classic literature, but I can't help it. I'm a fan of many 18th and 19th century English and American writers. No one does wit like Austen, angst like the Bronte sisters, or redemption like Elliot. So yes, you will see that. Redemption is laced throughout. I do like chemistry that starts between enemies and sparks passion. Opposites attract, and wouldn't it be boring if there was no fire along the way :). I need to also make mention of a master whose talent was realized before I was born. All hail Anne McCaffrey and her world, Pern. If you're unfamiliar and a fantasy/sci-fi fan, I highly recommend it. Her first work and all twenty something books that came after, are genius, beginning almost fifty years ago. They inspired so much in a young teenager. I don't think I could bring myself to extrapolate on her material, since I could never do her justice. |
