Hello people,

The other day I had this terrible thought, and I have to say its been haunting me. The last Harry Potter book came out 12 years ago (WHAT??) and the last film was released 8 years ago. Aside from making me feel extremely old, I realized something. The Harry Potter series itself is old. And now with the release of the new Fantastic Beasts films, the Potterverse is changing. So the thought I had is this - within the fanfic community, I wonder if less and less people are turning to fanfiction about characters from the original series, and more and more are turning to fanfics about the new characters from FB. Honestly? It makes me sad to think it could be true. To think that the cannon and characters we grew up with and loved so deeply we had to find ways to make them our own are slowly fading into the background. Let me know what you all think of this idea, if you agree or disagree.

For those of you who read Unforgiven, I'm thinking that it's nearly done, and might try to wrap it up in the next few chapters however, that might change depending on where Inspiration takes me. However! I have a few other fics in the works and might start publishing those, or I might wait until Unforgiven is finished.
