I don't remember how long I've let this Robert Frost piece be the sole occupant of my profile page. Since my first month here maybe. Anyway now, even after I found enough time and remembered to update my pro data with something decent, I'll let this be here. These lines have inspired me. Always.

Beyblade was the first anime I ever got into, and its Beyblade which brought me here. I remember getting all paranoid about a particular episode 48, from the third season and started hunting the net for any spoiler that might come my way, Fanfiction came up in some of the top entries, the name intrigued me and after a few days of exploring around the site, it topped my 'Most visited' list.

People get addicted to Facebook, but I guess Fanfiction is my book.

About me:

I'm Soumita, 15 years old, a girl and Indian. For some of you here, pronouncing 'Soumita' might be a little hard, 'Sou' for you then. This'll be more vocally friendly. ;)

Being in senior grades is pretty strenuous. Busy as hell, but still all the work is what makes 'my life mine'.
With 8 hours of the day to go into study, around 4 for coachings, a big majority of the rest into daily chores,maintaining my real and virtual world, things and stuff,
any and all the time left, goes into writing.

I'm currently on a 3 month long school break, the one we get after graduating from 10th, so I still get enough time to check around, but after school reopens, I reckon I probably would have even lesser time. I'll have that managed though.

It's been about 6 months I'm in this site, and writing for 4 or so. Comparatively, that makes me quite new, I'm yet to achieve the place I wish to hold, and I'm proud to say that every day takes me closer to it. There may not be a huge number of people who know me here, on account of me being barely a six month-er, but still I've been lucky enough to have met a considerable number of good mates on fanfiction, home and abroad alike.

A year from now, I'll be in a very different position in this site and I can't wait to know how.

Why I write :

This is one of those questions that I can write a whole thesis about and yet will not have completely answered it. Instead of going into more logical reasons at length, let's just go with the cliched, but very true line- " I write because I love to. "

Current work in progress :

I more or less have finished writing it. The next chapter is yet to be edited though, and I'm not very sure, but I may want to rewrite the last one. On the whole, if the schedules work, I'll have stamped it done, by next week.
