Author has written 6 stories for One Piece, Warehouse 13, Portal, Antigone, and Macbeth. Bio: I'm a happy housewife, a stay at home mom, an Irish dance instructor, a research editor of sorts with a degree in theatre and a minor in philosophy. I love ancient classics (if the Greek theme didn't clue you in). I love the arts - acting, singing, dancing, writing, drawing, you name it. There just aren't enough hours in the day to dedicate to them all! I'm also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, aka Mormon. I love my Savior. I have witnessed personal miracles, and continue to witness them every day. I served a mission in Chile, and am mostly fluent in Spanish, so feel free to leave me comments in Spanish to help me keep up the language. (Hace seis años desde volví, así que lo estoy perdiendo poco a poco. Necesito practicar, po!) Writing Goals: I have several personal novels in the works, and one day hope to be published. I also have a webcomic floating around half written on my laptop somewhere and need to make it happen. As far as FanFiction goes, my main goals right now are to finish my Straw Hats and the Iliad trilogy. The first book, Straw Hats and the Iliad is finished, as well as the second, Zoro's Odyssey. I am currently working on the final, Helena's Aeneid I'm honestly on here to make friends and have fun. I love and respond to comments. I'm open to criticism (most especially to my writing itself, though plot and characterization are also things I'm working on). Animes/Cartoons/Movies/TV: Miraculous Ladybug, Princess Tutu, One Piece, Haibane Renmei, Angelic Layer, Pokemon, Twelve Kingdoms (the books are even more fabulous) all things pertaining to the fantabulous Hayao Miyasaki (Porco Rosso being a particular favorite), Disney and Pixar goodness, Dreamworks, avengers stuff, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, Mirrormask, Warehouse 13, the first few seasons of Once Upon a Time (before it started getting lame), GODZILLA!, the list goes on... Video Games: Classic Nintendo (Mario, Zeldo, Donkey Kong, Kirby, etc), Final Fantasy (VI is the best!), Kingdom Hearts (Disney Final Fantasy = heaven), Chrono Trigger/Cross (more Trigger than Cross. Haven't played much of the latter) Fiction Literature: Harry Potter (I'm definitely a Ravenclaw, if anyone is wondering), Narnia (especially The Silver Chair), Redwall, the Bartimaus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud, the Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede, The Rise of the Guardians series by William Joyce, Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George, Deltora Quest and all books pertaining to that universe by Emily Rodda, Sabriel and its sequels by Garth Nix, etc and so forth Classics: Andrew Lang Fairy books, Grimm and Anderson fairy tales, The Iliad, The Odyssey, Dante's Inferno, The Scarlet Letter, The Meditations (by Rene Descartes), The Apology (Socrates), Beowulf, The Tragic Fall of Dr. Faustus, Antigone, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare of course) Music: Irish/Folk/pretty new agey stuff (Kate Rusby, Gaelic Storm, Loreena McKennit, The High Kings), cover artists (Anthem Lights, Walk off the Earth, Erutan, Peter Hollens), beautiful lyricists (Vienna Teng, Regina Spektor), Gothic (Nightwish, Within Temptation), etc etc Favorite Quotes: "With all your science - can you tell how it is, and whence it is, that light comes into the soul?" -Henry David Thoreau "Nothing is at last sacred but the Integrity of your own mind." - Ralph Waldo Emerson "There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul." - Ella Wheeler Wilcox "Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith." - President Thomas S. Monson "Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy." - 2 Nephi 2:25 |
