Author has written 4 stories for StarTrek: Deep Space Nine.

I've been writing since March of 2015. I'm in my 40's, so I've gotten a bit of a late start. But... better late than never.

My writing here is limited to the Deep Space Nine universe. It's my favorite Trek series and arguably my favorite show of all time. I would like to write completely original stories, but fan fiction is a great way to get my feet wet. The universe exists, the characters exist, all I need to do is write a story. Most of my work so far has included original characters. I've found that this practice isn't extremely popular in the fanfiction world as most readers only want to read stories about characters they know and love--not some 'other person.' I'm enjoying myself and practicing creating new things, so I can't say I'm overly concerned.

I call myself a 'Star Trek fan' as opposed to a 'Trekkie' as I've not been involved in the Star Trek community. I've only attended one convention to date (update: three now). But... what a great experience my first convention was! I was lucky enough to attend a private Meet and Greet with two of my favorites: Nana Visitor and Rene Auberjonois! It was just the two of them, two other fans, and me for 45 minutes of awesome discussion. I will never forget it!

Anyway... thank you for reading and please enjoy!

A special Thank You to The Tystie for being my prime cheerleader! Read her story: The Manipulation of Julian Bashir if you haven't already. It's incredible!

Also, not sure if this site will let my rcraiggardner Tumblr link pass, but in case you're interested in a handful of short original stories (under 1500 words):
