![]() Author has written 16 stories for Lost, Veronica Mars, Firefly, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, and Andromeda. Updated 7/8/12: Currently, the only WIP I'm working on is Girl From the North Country. It's going to be the first in a two or three part series. I'm still feeling out where this is going. There will probably be a couple "deleted scenes" here and there. Emma is a character that I have completely and totally fallen in love with. I thinks she and Jax are going to have an epic romance but it probably isn't going to be all sunshine and puppies. They are both intensely passionate and broken people who probably aren't going to be able to fix each other. I have a penchant for angst and I'm pretty notorious for killing off the characters I love. You've been warned, haha. I'm not going to lie, I don't like OC fic. I don't. I know, that sounds stupid because I'm writing a fic in which an OC is one of the main characters. Yes, that is very hypocritical of me. I admit it. So what I'm saying here, is don't worry. My feelings aren't going to be hurt if you pass over GFtNC because you too don't like OC fic. However, I do hope you'll take a look and keep an open mind. Emma, in some incarnation, has been a character who has been hanging around in my head for a while. She never seemed to fit into any of the original fiction novels that I wrote but slowly I was falling in love with her. This whole... well, some might call it a mess and some might call it an adventure-- started when I tried my hand at some Jax/Tara but just couldn't get Tara's characterization down. It was coming out like shit to put it bluntly. So, on a whim, I started writing Emma into the story and eventually she took over and pushed Tara out for good. She belonged in the Samcro 'verse. It was always going to languish on my hard drive, just something to play around with when I got bored... except that I stumbled across some really good OC-centric fic in the 'verse and thought... what the hell. So, do I think that I've fallen into the Sue!trap? Nope. But that's just me. You can read it for yourself and judge. But again, not going to get my feelings hurt if you pass it up. And I know everyone always says this, but I'm feeling really shaky about posting this. Reviews really do help. I mean, one way or another this story is going to get finished so I'm not saying that... what I am saying is that you guys really do wonders for my confidence in this story. Happy reading! xox, Niki |
