Author note, 04 March 2018

First of all, don't be mad. Although I completely understand if you are! I have never forgotten this story, in fact the ending was written 3 years ago, and the issue as far as the writing goes was a pacing problem, which I am fixing now. Hopefully I will be posting the next chapter this month, and once I've done that it will likely be back to posting at least weekly.

Life really caught up to me, I've been promoted at work and busy as all get out, my cat passed away :( and I've got heaps more responsibility than I did 3 years ago, but I can't complain. Life is beautiful and writing is still the dream. Thanks for all the encouragement, messages and new reviews – you're always on my mind. New chapter coming soon.

Sorry to everyone who's been waiting on the next installment in Magnetic – I swear I haven't forgotten, life just took a series of wild turns after I got my job. Things are going well but that also means I've been really busy. And then the worst thing happened, my writing file for Magnetic got corrupted somehow, and I lost entire chapters I'd written, so I had to start over again. I will post as soon as I can get the next chapter back to what I wanted. Thanks for all the kind words so far, they really motivate me to get back on the horse. Soon-soon.

P.S. I have a new fave ship to add, which is Remus x Sirius. I've already started writing my second fic ;)

Don't you hate when an author disappears before the story is complete? Er, yeah. Sorry for anyone I left hanging. Good news chapter 18 is up and I'm hoping to post the next one soon (like within a week soon, but no promises). In writer-y news, I'm learning so much about writing and even just the creative process (and what does and doesn't work for me) while doing this. If anyone's been lurking (like I was for many years) but really wants to post a story, I'd encourage you to go ahead! It's all learning curves.

I'm progressing nicely on my Remus/Sirius story but I learned my lesson with Magnetic, and I won't be posting anything on that until it's at least 90% sorted. It was a nice break from Magnetic though. I feel fresher for coming back to it after a while. At some point I want to go back and put in all the songs that I felt fit with what was going on. Anyway, hope you enjoy the read and as always, I really appreciate feedback.
