Author has written 5 stories for Captain America, and Once Upon a Time. So, my given name is Julie, I'm usually only Jules, though, or 'Juju Bean' to my husband. :) I'm an artist and a mom, and I love fan-fiction. I've been reading ff for about fifteen years, and writing it since I was a kid. I'm hoping to publish some fun stuff here, I'm really into the Marvel Universe right now, TMNT, and Supernatural. I'll always love Harry Potter and old school Phantom of the Opera, though. I don't watch too much T.V., though AoS, izombie and 2 Broke Girls are some I try to keep up with. (Max is my girl-crush). :) I'm also trying to pick back up Once upon a Time, though after Season 2, I'm kinda' lost. My favorite music is mostly classic rock, but I also like anything that catches my interest. 'Nina Gordon' is a forever favorite, along with 'Veruca Salt' and 'Garbage'. 30 Seconds to Mars, Fallout Boy, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, and Linkin Park are some current faves. I am currently on the fence about monkeys. It seems like every video I see, they're doing something twitchy. They're so naughty. And also, sometimes, gross... I'm a comic book collector, started out with the old B&W Chaos! line of 'Evil Ernie' and 'Lady Death' back in the day. 'Youth Gone Wild' was bad ass! I impressed my future husband by knowing the difference between Ice Man and Silver Surfer - lol - and by reading his entire collection of Fantastic Four - a long box - in one night. I followed that with his X-Men collection and The Avengers. It helped that I speed read. ("I am the devourer of worlds!") :) It didn't take long for me to realize I preferred Marvel, though Frank Miller's Dark Knight kicked ass. I also discovered a love for Top Cow and Michael Turner. 'Witchblade' and 'The Darkness' were my faves, although no one could draw Jackie Estacado right after he was gone. Mmm, Jackie Estacado. All the more desirable because he's hot and suddenly can't do-the-do without fear of getting some chika in the family way and therefore kicking off. Hee. Man-whore justice. Anyway, good times were had. My most recent series binge has been 'Captain America', of course, and 'The Winter Soldier'. I'm a full-on junkie, especially when it comes to Cap and Bucky. I'm currently reading Steve Rogers Captain America (WTF) and Thunderbolts. I tend to like dark, realistic-themed fics, angst and blood, so that's also what I tend to write, but I also can't resist bro-mance, slice-of-life, and happy endings. My moods can change on a dime, and mostly, that just sucks, because I have to take meds, and being on meds typically kills my creativity. I'm on something new - and expensive, ugh - but it seems to be working without taking away my precious feels and imagination. I figure I'll just enjoy the ride while I can. In the Works: Ripped At The Edges: Story Removed Better Days: A bunch of loosely connected short stories about Bucky and Steve growing up, and their experiences before the war. My Dad's old stories about growing up in the forties and the time he spent in the military in Greenland during the sixties inspired a few of them - and no, I'm not quite that old, I was born when he was older. :) I've got one coming up about an unfortunate experience with cow-tipping and an outhouse that should be fairly entertaining...
