Hello Fanfiction World!

Writing is something that's been in my blood for as long as I can remember. I was the one in school who, when everyone else was grumbling about the creative writing assignment, was thinking up new ways to make my stories and poems fun, entertaining, and magical to read. I'm a hardcore fantasy/sci-fi lover! Star Wars, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson, anything Disney, you name it and I'm there!

Treasure Planet is my absolute, all time, favorite Disney movie! I love everything about it. The action and adventure, the amazing twist on an old classic, the perfect casting of the lead voices, the fact that there isn't a love interest in Jim's life (i.e. extremely single and up-for-grabs), and seriously what's not to love about Jim Hawkins? (I have no shame in being in love with a cartoon character. No shame!)

I started writing my fanfictions about Jim and my OC, Zarabeth, for my own enjoyment, but I figured I'd put it out there for the world to test out. The reception I've received for my stories has been more than I could ever have imagined, so thank you everyone!

Now that I'm in the process of concluding my series of Treasure Planet fanfictions, I wanted to put out there why I am calling this adventure to a close. A part of me always dreamed of being a published author, but those dreams had long since been buried. No more! Because of the connections I have made through these stories and this account, I am now in the process of creating a series of graphic novels with the incredibly talented illustrator Micheline Ryckman. With her publishing company at our backs, we plan on releasing the first volume by the end of this year 2017!
