I wrote this in 2003, when the sequels were coming out, as a sort of catharsis. I took it down in 2004 in a fit of "it's terrible, what was I thinking?" and then in 2006 put it all back up at once at the request of a friend, who wanted to reread it, as I had enough distance on it not to care any more. It's recently been updated with stuff that was on an old hard drive that has now gone to be recycled.
