Kids, I'm going to tell you an incredible story, the story of how we fixed the show. On March 31st, 2014, the HIMYM finale aired, unfortunately it wasn't the beautiful ending we'd all waited nine seasons for. What we witnessed was nine years of character development destroyed in the most painfully out of character 45 minutes of television, ever. Since then, many have ranted over varying parts of the finale and its various inaccuracies. However, it wasn't until recently that the idea to completely rewrite the final two -- and most problematic -- seasons was born. Six fanfic writers have made this task their own, vowing to unleash our creativity upon the series. We are no mere mortals, no kids, we are Team Bae: The HIMYM Rewriters.
