Well, if you've taken the trouble to visit I suppose you're interested in the Amanda stories or in me as a writer (scary concept). It's a long time since I updated this (or even looked at it) so I'm re-reading and editting now...

Me: I only read X-men fics. Dunno why, but they are the only ones that amuse me. If you review First Interview and you write these I'll probably give one of yours a read and will try and review. Please don't be offended if I don't though I have practically no time and I only really like humour. I lack scope. Sorry. As a writer... well I know I'm not much of one but I figure this is a way of improving. I write for fun, would write anyway, but since I am insecure about my writing (scraped a pass on my final writing exam and never studied it since!) I will probably stop sharing with the world at large if the feedback dries up. Also, if I become totally inadequate at updating over the next few years I appologise, but if you didn't review then it's at least partly your fault. I will be much more likely to find a way of writing and updating if I am getting feedback. Yes, I know it's vain, but c'est la vie.

The Stories: well, sorry the chapters are so short but like I say I have practically no time and that way at least I can update sometimes without feeling overly pressured. It's supposed to be FUN right

I used an O.C because X-men are generally from the US and I'm not. Therefore I don't understand stuff that they would find obvious. That means she doesn't have to know everything about he US hopefully without it being offensive... I read a Harry Potter fic once (back in the days when there was time), written by someone who was obviously from the US and it annoyed hell out of me. They didn't know how to swear or the names of sweets. And they kept talking about JELLO for goodness sake. I know it's petty but there you are.

Both my stories are set in a version of movieverse - because I have never read the comic books. I have stolen some British charaters from comicverse, because they seemed fun. If you think I'm writing them all wrong, let me know... Second chance follows from First interview and probably won't make sense without it, however it is supposed to be a seperate and distinct story. If you are completely confused about Amanda, I apologise, she's an OC.

Background on Amanda: Her mum is an actual character from the X-men comics called Lorelei. I have hijacked her and changed her story. Sorry if that offends you. Amanda has an older step-brother named Dan. He's married with kids and runs a pub in rural North Wales. She has three other brothers, Martin, Mick and Ollie. Martin is the eldest and a mechanic. Mick is the next one down, he also worked for the service and he and Amanda have a somewhat strained relationship. Ollie is Amanda's twin brother. He is a mutant who turns into a penguin when he is stressed. Don't ask me why, it just worked out that way. Anyway, he is now on an exploration team working in Antartica.
