Author has written 27 stories for Harry Potter. Sep 27, 2007 I have found myself swamped this fall, so am unable to pursue my plan of one last Lupin/Tonks story. I even got behind on replying to reviews new readers who have discovered my stories have left. Yes, I know the fate of my two favorite characters. I respect JKR's creative vision, but personally wish she had pursued her original plan. I was happy about certain events in Book 7 and so feel compelled to offer one last story that perhaps offers an alternative possibility to the end. Don't expect anything before Christmas break, though. Best wishes to all. Queriusole Jan 15 2007 Nymphadora's Wolf is now complete and this ends my stories in the Harry Potter World. I'll keep the stories available until after the last movie comes out, but by then my characterizations will be quite dated. If you want to know what I think will happen in Book 7, just read the epilogue of the last chapter of Nymphadora's Wolf. It has been a pleasure to share the stories with you. Take care. Oct 2 2006 Real life keeps getting in the way of the book 6 fanfic project, but I think I'm ready to start. Just not sure how long it will take me to get the story in shape for posting. Look for Nymphadora's Wolf at least by Halloween. I don't like angst, so the challenge is to try to maintain some humor given the dark circumstances. July 9 Just a quick update in case anyone is checking. Due to a time consuming project in real life, I won't be posting Lupin/Tonks Book 6 stories until September. Until then, thank you for your patience. Yes, I do plan to write stories from Book 6 but I'm incapable of writing nothing but angst, so I've already got ideas about how to present the heartache within a brighter context. It might be July or August 2006 before I start writing that story, though. Thanks to all who read, reviewed and put my stories on favorites lists, author alerts or C2. The comments from faithful readers helped me shape the stories and, even if you left just one review letting me know you were reading my stories, I appreciate the time you gave me. I hope you shared the laughs and leave with a smile. May 22, 2006 The Nymph vs Wolf story began in September 2005 to present a Lupin and Tonks who are much more insecure about themselves and their relationship than you'll find in my first set of stories. Tonks is much more the clumsy, tomboy trying to prove herself while Lupin lacks a certain self-confidence in his self-image that goes deeper than his physical appearance. That's why the stories, or chapters, have been put in one Story. Book 6 indicated that issues with Remus and Tonks had been argued "a million times" indicating to me that they had explored areas of their relationship. Further, when Tonks asserts "...she still wants to MARRY him..." for me indicates that Tonks' dejection was not over unrequited love, but desertion in that Lupin ultimately pushed her away rather than make a lifelong commitment to her. She never asks if he loves her or proclaims that she loves him. That doesn't need to be said. So, that's the fit Nymph vs Wolf has with canon. The complete story contains 15 chapters. Embellished scenes from Nymph vs Wolf (Rated M for sexual content) can be found in Nymphatic Dreams (5 ch). Both are now complete.2004-05 Just a typical Harry Potter fan. At present my favorite ship is Lupin/Tonks. Also like Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny. Prefer humor, romance, and angst that has a reason. Although intending to only write a few stories, it turned into about 25 that cover my first iteration of Lupin/Tonks in the Order of the Phoenix. The Seducing a Nymph story is rated M for mature sexual content and providess embellishment of scenes found in the other 25 stories written at this time. |
