Author has written 5 stories for Gravity Falls, Newsies, Thief and the Cobbler, and Maximum Ride. 'Sup? I'm the Anonymous Traveler. I'm anonymous, I travel, and I'm a Christian. So maybe I'm the Christian Anonymous Traveler. Therefore, my name is C.A.T. I actually don't really like fanfiction, but since most writers learn by imitating their favorite authors or watching and critiquing their favorite shows and movies, I figured it would be a learning experience. Besides, who doesn't wish that they could have a hand in writing their favorite series? Have fun! (And please, feel free to tell me what you think. Constructive cricism is always welcome here.) And yes, I do love cats. LUV EM! Who am I? A homo sapien. They're a rare species on other planets. What am I? A female. How old am I? You know that saying about "act your age, not your shoe size?" Well what if you're smaller than your shoe size? O.O ... just kidding (or am I?) Where do I live? Wouldn't you and the NSA like to know. Places I've been to: Virigina, West Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Conneticut, Kentucky, Tenessee, Missouri, Texas, Massachussets, Quebec, Scotland, England, Guatemala, the Twilight Zone Places I want to go: Ireland, Spain, Germany, Italy, Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon, Israel, Japan, South Korea, the Moon Fun fact: If you got Grunkle Stan, Soos, Old Man McGucket, and Bill Cipher together to have a conversation, Alex Hirsch would be talking to himself. Favorite quote: "To travel is to take a journey into yourself." -Danny Kaye Favorite verses: "'You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.'" - John 15:16, NIV 7 Reasons Not to Mess with Children (small children) 1. A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah". The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?" The little girl replied, "Then you ask him". 2. A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute." 3. A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honour" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill." 4. One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?" 5. The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. "Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.' A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead." 6. A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face." "Yes," the class said. "Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?" A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty." 7. The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE . God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples. "'Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.'"- Matthew 10:32-33, NIV. If you're a Christian, speak up! Don't be ashamed to admit that YOU LOVE JESUS! "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."- John 21:25, NIV. This verse is my inspiration! Original Characters from The Love Song of Dipper Pines (in order of appearance): Lily - a twelve-year-old brunette girl with supernatural abilities. New to Gravity Falls, she relies on Dipper, Mabel, and their friends to help her get acquainted with her new surroundings. Lily is in love with Dipper, but is uncertain about how well she can trust him -- or anyone else in town for that matter. They both have an interest in uncovering secrets about the town, and Lily in particular is trying to figure out who the author is of a diary found in her room and why her great-uncle Jack doesn't want her to know much about his past. Fantastic with a sketchbook and good with animals, Lily knows how to appreciate the good things in her life with the ones she loves, despite her concern that she may not be able to return back to her home. Popper ("Pop") - Lily's grandfather and current guardian. Originally a resident of Gravity Falls himself, he feels at home in the old town, and brought Lily there with him because he knows that it's a relatively unknown town to seek refuge in. He is an old friend of Stan Pines, and despite being a man who doesn't enjoy immature sport anymore, he still knows how to laugh about the good ol' days. He still hurts over the death of his wife, but feels secure in the hope that she is alive in heaven. Even so, he isn't eager to die too soon for Lily's sake. Though for him, that won't be an option. Gran (mentioned) - Lily's deceased grandmother who was married to Pop. She died a couple of years ago, and left behind her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, Lily and Lily's siblings. She is remembered very fondly and is still missed terribly by her loved ones. Jack - Lily's great-uncle and Pop's half-brother. He is crotchety man who has lived the last thirty years or so alone on the outskirts of town, not interacting with anyone -- until Pop and Lily arrive on his doorstep. As he allows himself to accept their company, he realizes how much he misses being a part of other people's lives and begins to open up more about his old broken life. Whether if he wants it fixed is another matter entirely. Scarlet - A yet unknown character. She wrote a diary that Lily found in her room, and Lily is determined to figure out who she is. Based on her diary entries though, she doesn't sound like a person who wants to be known. Resplendence - A woman who aids Lily through her dreams. Not much is known about her; only that she wants to guide Lily as she learns more about her family's past to learn about her family's future. Jill - Jack's deceased wife. She was well loved by Jack, who still can't get over her death after so many years. Original Characters from Gravity Falls: A Jersey Girl's Tale (in order of appearance): Isannah - a nineteen-year-old blonde Christian from New Jersey who works in the Mystery Shack and babysits Dipper and Mabel for Stan Pines. A freshman taking a summer semester in a community college in Gravity Falls as well as an occasional assistant to a Sunday school teacher, she believes that she is wanted there in the old town for a divine purpose, but has yet to know what it exactly is. Isannah is hired as the twins babysitter/caretaker when Stan isn't on the job, and she clumsily gets the job done. She also feels the need to leave behind her old life with her family and to forge a new one for herself, even if it means moving across the country to do it. The longer she stays in Gravity Falls though, the more terrified of it she becomes, not just for herself, but more so for the Pines family. One who judges mainly from first time impressions, Isannah struggles with letting go of old hurts or mistakes from those she knows, and still carries pain from her previous years living on the East Coast. But she has good intentions for her friends and for the twins, and always tries to stay in prayer and see where God is guiding her. Wax Anton La Vey - a villain who appeared in the last two "Headhunters" chapters, he is based off of the satanist Anton La Vey. He and Isannah went head to head over a battle of life and death and to see whose God was more powerful: his or hers? Donella Finn - a pale twenty-four-year-old Irish woman who's thinner than a broomstick but has the appetite of a whale. She was raised in Limerick to parents who didn't necessarily love her but felt obligated to raise her. But at the age of twelve, she left home and set off on her own course, investigating into her past to figure out who she really is. She poses as a foreign exchange student studying to become an English professor at the community college that Isannah and Simon attend ... but only as an alibi. She loves animals, and is found speaking to them more often than to people (even if they can't talk back). Sarcastic and not one who warms up to others too easily, she often looks upon others with a critical eye, but especially humans. The Simpletin Sisters, Prissy (Priscilla), Missy (Melissa), and Sissy (Cecilia)triplet sisters with lovely golden curls and sickeningly sweet attitudes who attend the college that Isannah and her friends go to. While they could add or dump friends with no qualms, they decide to keep Isannah around purely for laughs. They often are found as a pack hunting for the highest brand, but are themselves rather poor in thought. Let's just say that there's a reason the three of them are taking summer school courses. Original Characters from both The Love Song of Dipper Pines and Gravity Falls: A Jersey Girl's Tale (in no particular order): Simon: The Love Song of Dipper Pines - a community college student who got on Jack's bad side. In this story, he was a volunteer to help in a search and rescue effort, but otherwise leaves no huge impression on the the overall plot of the story. Gravity Falls: A Jersey Girl's Tale - a freckly and slightly husky awkward college junior of twenty-one years and Isannah's best friend. He works with his mother in a car towing and car repair business in Gravity Falls, and is always willing to assist someone in trouble. Also a Christian, he attends the same church in Gravity Falls that Isannah does and works there as a greeter/usher on Sundays. Ex-boyfriend of the pastor's daughter, Simon carries other emotional pains that he wouldn't readily admit to anyone because he doesn't want to burden other hurt people with his own. Mrs. Callow: The Love Song of Dipper Pines (mentioned) - an old acquaintance of Pop and Jack's childhood growing up. An ornery woman, she is stubborn and often rude in her ways until she meets someone else who is just as such. She wanted to win over Jack's affections when they were both younger, but when he chose Jill over her, she threw a fit and married Mr. Callow to spite him. Gravity Falls: A Jersey Girl's Tale - an old woman who brings cookies into church and organizes church activities. After her husband died, she lost the old ornery nature she had as a young woman, and now gets herself into trouble gossiping about churchgoers and smiling because no one can hit an elderly woman. |
