2/13/12:
It's almost been a year since I moved to L.A. and I am still trying to figure things out. In case you are wondering, working in PR can be very stressful but hopefully my job will be developing in a new direction soon (in the next month or so). I apologize for the lack of updates - sadly, stress does not help with the creative juices. I have also been focusing much more energy on an original novel that I am writing. This does not mean though that I am giving up on fanfiction so there is no need to worry.

7/31/11:
Life is going well in L.A.! It's stressful, very stressful but it's worth it. I've moved twice since being here, been an extra on The Guild and got blood splattered on a movie set. I got a job doing PR and hopefully can now rely on a steady paycheck.

11/08/10:
I have some big changes coming up in my life. I am quiting my well paid 9-5 respectible job to move to L.A. in Febuary. I am just not cut out for the stiffling cubical atmosphere; sad part is though that I am actually good at my cubical job. Wish me luck!

I love to tell stories whether it is by word of mouth, written or through my art. I am inspired by the world and people that surround me. Often drawing inspiration for characters and situations from real life. I focus a lot on characterization in my fanfiction. After all, these characters already have personalities and reasons that their audience loves or hates them. Why change a good thing when you can delve into their personalities and expand them?

If you haven't figured it out already, I love crossovers, especially well written ones. I think it has to deal with the character interactions and them being put into situations that would not happened in the creator's original world.

Current Projects:

Mein Teil: This is a BTVS/HP story that takes place in the same universe as Off Duty. Let's just say, I am very excited to hear what people think of it.

The hardest part I found was deciding on a solution to the many problems that Harry will face. Harry Potter starts during the fifth book, The Order of the Phoenix. To be precise, in the middle of Chapter 27, page 605 (although, depending on the book, the page number will be different) during the end of March. BTVS begins four to six months after the series end, the number of months isn’t important.

Obviously, this is not how I think the Harry Potter series will end. After all, it's a cross over with BTVS, and I highly doubt that J.K. Rowling will have Faith as a main character in her last book. But, with that said, Mein Teil does include the Horcruxes and the hunt for them. I picked the Horcruxes out of what Dumbledore thought as well as what would fit into the story.

I got the idea for the name, Mein Teil, from a song by Rammstein, however this is not a songfic. In fact, although I love the song, this fic has absolutely nothing to do with it and has nothing in common. I decided on the name for other reasons.

The Lesser Kindred: It is a Slayers/Inuyasha crossover. In order to make these two worlds work together, there was some serious thought put into what needed to stay the same and what needed to change.

This story is going on strong despite the lack of reviews. . .oh well. Thanks to those who are reviewing, I can't tell you how much I value you're input. And the fact that you notice things that both myself and my beta miss. Right now, the story looks like it will be twenty chapters plus an epilogue.

Splendor (tentative name): A BTVS/AB fic that will not be posted here. Sorry boys and girls, but in order to read it you'll have to venture over to the Hellmouth. The story already has two strikes against it to be here: first, it's an Anita Blake fic, and second, the rating will be too high (if you've read Anita Blake, then you'll understand). The tale will be about Spike beginning a new life.

Originally, I was going to post this before Mein Teil, but things just didn't work out that way. So now it will be a while until this one is up. I am planning on not starting to post until it is over half way written.

So, if you're excited to read it, sorry you're going have to wait.
