I love writing and the artistic aspect of it. The way you can use words to paint a picture of a character or place. My strength is definitely writing fluffy, feel good fiction. It comes the most naturally and I can pull a 10 page long fluff piece out of nothing and finish it easily without much thought or planning. Which is why I am challenging myself to write more in depth fiction. I want to try and get much deeper into the character, what makes them tick, what makes them choose the way they do. Writing in character is something I strive to do in fan fiction because I believe that is the challenge of it. I study episodes, especially specific ones that have similar situations to what I'm trying to write to try and keep them in character. I do believe in taking some liberties with characterization when putting them in a situation that they've never encountered before in the show, but I try to keep them as true to form as possible.

If you read any of my old fan fiction published around 2008... Don't judge me! I was so much younger and my author notes were so annoying! ;) I briefly considered removing them but I figured I would leave them up, just so I can go back to read them and laugh.
