Hello all!

My name is FaithandFantasy (or Faith&Fantasy). I am honored to be able to write for all of you beautiful people in our wide world.

I am a new author here on fanfiction, having joined in July of 2014. After many years of writing stories in chemistry notebooks and plot bunnies in the margins of English worksheets, I decided it was time to stop being lazy and free my baby writings into the sea with all the other stories I have come to love and cherish on this site. Thank you for accepting me here!

My profile picture is a design from a t-shirt from the company teeturtle. I love and own quite a few of their shirts. If you are a nerd like me, I recommend you check them out. I claim no ownership to the image. All credit goes to the respective artist and company.

All of the cover images for my stories are my own art pieces that I have painted (I can't do that fancy computer art ya'll can do) :)

About my writing:

- I will admit now that I am terrible at grammar. I can think the words, but I can't speak 'em or write 'em for that matter. I apologize in advance for this, and I will do my best to make my writing as grammatically correct as I can. That being said, please let me know if you come across any blatant errors that effect the flow and/or comprehension of a work. Or any errors really. I believe in the growth of learning through one's mistakes, so I invite you to point out mine!

- Along with the above, any constructive criticism of any kind is more than appreciated. There is some wonderful talent on this site, and I wish to grow as an writer to be able to present you with more worthy works.

- I plan to write mainly in the anime/manga category. But that's not to say I won't explore others! I love all categories of writing here, and I am into more fandoms than I can count.

- I LOVE WORDS! I am a word junkie. Big words, weird words, eloquent words, colorful words, nonsense words, different language's words, I love 'em all. However, I try to stay away from the unnecessary use of big words in my writing. This is to enable the writing to be best understood on every level. That's not to say that I won't throw in a weird word now and then though! (Which reminds me, if you every feel the need to spruce up you loquence, try here: http:// ). Word-choice criticism is also revered.

- I do not discriminate. Of any kind (race, gender, sexuality, religion, political stance, ice cream preference, etc.). On here, your view is my view. You can choose to see or not see whatever you want in my writing. I am here to just put words on a page (err...webpage for that matter) for your viewing pleasure.

- I am generally not a romantic writer. I have nothing against romances of any kind of relationship (I am a fan of them and enjoy reading all types, no matter the pairing), I just honestly stink and writing 'em. I may hint at some here and there, but they will be rare (I will also always state these "mini-pairings" in the summaries so if it's not your thing, you won't be upset). If you feel like you see a pairing in one of my works, go for it! The only thing that's mine is the words. You get to read the story however you want.

- Again, I am always open to suggestions. Whether it be ideas for a new story or a really awesome plot twist, I'd love to hear from you!

My interests:

Not that you need to care, this is only if you are interested in seeing where some of the origins to my ideas may have came from. Who knows, maybe you'll see something you're interested in too!

- Music. Definitely a huge part of my life, I am a trained pianist, singer, and marimba player. I dabble in drums, guitar, and the ocarina. I mainly listen to alternative music, but i don't dislike any form of music.

- Art. I love all forms of creation.

- Reading. My favorite genre is fantasy (oh wow, bet you didn't see that one coming) but I also have a soft spot for classics and a good sci-fi. I also love studying the mythology of different cultures.

- Anime/Manga. I really like all of it. My favorite (and coincidentally first) is Wolf's Rain. Other favorites (in no particular order) include Fullmetal Alchemist, Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist), One Piece, Bleach, Soul Eater, Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), Fairy Tail, Magi, DN Angel, Inuyasha, Naruto, Kuroko no Basket, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Hetalia, Loveless, Haikyuu, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, Tokyo Ghoul, and...well...I don't really dislike any. So yup! Suggestions to share are always welcome! I got into anime and manga through my friends, so I love listening to what other people like and trying it out. :)

- Animals. My dog (Olive) is my sister; we do everything together. I love all creatures (even icky bugs!). I am also an avid bird watcher, so I will apologize in advance for the many bird metaphors to come!

- Astronomy. I have been interested in space and the celestial for as long as I could remember. I wanted to be an astronaut at the age of 5 (a dream lost but not forgotten) and drew my first star map at age 7. I warn you now for any long descriptions of celestial bodies you will see in my writing :)

- I am on the path to becoming a teacher. So I see myself as just a oversized kid.

- I am a complete geek. From my first gameboy given to me at preschool graduation to the binder of the complete first generation set of Pokemon cards under my bed, I embrace it all.

- Reese's peanut butter cups. They are the mortal ambrosia.

Places I've wandered - United States (home), Canada, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic.

The greatest thing I have ever done is climbed the Alps in different places in Europe. Being out there and surrounded by the wonder of Mother Nature is more than anything I could ask for. I encourage everyone to get out there and enjoy the world around you! No matter where you live. It's a pretty cool place.

Current Stories: (2)

Here I will list the statuses of stories that I have in the works. I make no promise on update times. Our lives are like ships on the sea, floating in calm waters one day and tossed in raging waves the next. No one knows what crap tomorrow will pull, so to be fair to you I don't promise updates. However, for multi-chapter works my regime is to always have a completed chapter on stand by when the preceding chapter is posted. This way, if something were to happen there is always a cushion to ensure that the wait for an update is not unnecessarily long.

Blame - Sabo's death hit Ace and Luffy hard. Confused and suffering, Ace looks for someone to take his grief and frustration out on. Someone to take the blame. Rim of Heaven - Luffy spent most of his 14-year-old life growing up on the streets. A horrible accident at a young age left the boy to fend for himself. But when he meets a mysterious stranger, Luffy soon learns of a world he could have only dreamed of, and that fairytales might not be all that far from the truth.
