2/11/20 UPDATE

Hi everyone! The 50th chapter of End of an Era is about 75% complete at this time. Unfortunately things hit a rather bad snag over the last two months with a really bad case of writer's block and events that were outside of my control. Rest assured that I'm still working on the next chapter; at this rate, it may end up being the longest one for this story so far, but I'll definitely try to cut it down as much as I can before I release it (I don't think there would be many people who would want to read a 30 page chapter). Anyway, I really am sorry about the wait, but I am definitely going to get this latest chapter finished.

In the next chapter of End of an Era: Before the Heir of Vatenkeist could be sealed away once more, Zoe suddenly appears. Devoid of any emotion and any glimmer of hope, the red-haired magician attacks the party without remorse whilst dancing to the strings of the former guardian of their world and original Great Spirit of Light, Rem. Amidst the destruction being unleashed, Elize takes it upon herself to try and stop her former childhood friend; however, the only way she can truly reach her, the only way she can hope to stop her, is to find the answer she swore to give Zoe the next time they met. Yet this is only the beginning as another soon descends upon the battlefield. Bathed in the heart of darkness yet within arm's reach of the light, 'she' awakens once more, awakening to a world much different than 'she' remembers, a world that is not her own, a world 'she' wishes to devour. Will Elize finally find the answer she has owed Zoe since their reunion? Who is this woman that descends at the cusp of the edge of this epoch? Truths are discovered, sacrifices are made, a calamity renewed, and the end of an era begins in the next exciting chapter of End of an Era!

With the announcement of Tales of Arise, some readers may be wondering if there will be any further crossover with End of an Era. At this point, I don't think there will be as I simply think there's already a lot of characters I'm writing for in the story thus far and I've postponed the story long enough.
