Kurt and Blaine had always known they wanted kids. Right after they started talking about their future together they'd started in to talking about that distant someday when they would be fathers. Together. But there is always a day when 'someday' becomes 'now.'

When Kurt comes across his mother's old video tapes, he decides to go ahead and play them by himself even though he knows he should probably wait for his dad. She spent the last two years of her life recording everything she could in order to help her men live without her and trying to make sure that her son could look back and know that his mom was proud of him, no matter what.

No one was going to argue that people who wrote music for the boybands of the 90s were lyrical geniuses. Or maybe they were. The verses weren't complex. They were straight to the point and they made sure the point got across. (Klaine's First Dance.)

Away back in season 1, there was a time when Kurt tried to date one Brittany S. Pierce. He wanted so bad to be the son his father wanted to be with. Surely it was a fool proof plan. But being Brittany's boyfriend as a gay male was a bit trickier than he expected.

Being two very attractive young men can make things very difficult. (Despite the mature rating this is a slightly immature fic that takes place over seasons 2 and 3 while the boys deal with issues regarding how attractive the other one is.)

While Kurt sleeps, the two men who love him most have a chance to talk. Set at the hospital during Bash.

Though out his life, there have been many times when Kurt felt he had to lie, including a few times when he believed that lie. Until one day when he stopped lying for good. (Covers Kurt age 5 through 15.)

Blaine hadn't told Kurt about his past before, and not just because he couldn't remember most of it. But Kurt had a right to know. Kurt had given him everything he had. Now it was Blaine's turn to do the same.

Burt knew something was wrong as soon as he saw that his son's hair was messed up. (Pre-canon elaboration on the pee balloons comment from the Pilot episode.)

"Why is the lawn furniture attached to the roof?"

Kurt was content to wait until Blaine asked him out. But there was something about putting on those coveralls and doing something so innately manly as fixing Blaine's car has him feeling a bit more forward than usual. (Early Season 2.)

The piano in the Hummel house has been silent for nine years. The last time anyone played it Kurt was eight years old. It was his mom's birthday. Just like today. Carole will never replace her - she's not supposed to. But anyone who can get Kurt to play the piano again is a keeper.

Like every slushie facial and dumpster toss, this too would become an inconsequential part of Kurt's past. It wasn't even a real assault anyway, not technically. If he ignored his feelings he could pretend it was just like being back at McKinley. NYADA had bullies too after all. For not being real, though, it sure had some very real consequences. Kurt was seven when he learned how to ride a bike. He may have been growing up but he wasn't quite ready for his dad to let go, no matter how steady he seemed.

Sequel to "Kurt and Blaine's First Date" in which Blaine takes Kurt out to a restaurant where there will be no relatives hanging around and takes a few chances while they're there. Because Kurt is worth it.

After a trip to see an off-Broadway rendition of Into the Woods causes Blaine to become miserable over regret for his past behavior, Kurt has a very intimate talk with him to help put the past behind them for good. (Set in New York over the summer during season 5. Spoilers for Into the Woods.)

In which Kurt and Blaine decide to shop for certain aids for certain activities and turn into immature preteen boys at their first sight of the inside of an adult store.

For some teens, their sixteen birthday is the highlight of their teenage years. For Kurt, his seventeenth was already far more important in the very first minutes of the day. (Pure Fluff.)

Ten years after Kurt's very interesting sophomore year of high school, Blaine found a little memento of the times in a box in the Hummel-Hudson attic. A door hanger Kurt was quite sure he'd already thrown away. Twice.

Does it even count if all of Kurt's family was there? (Season 2, telling of the evening after they got together.)

Or "The day Burt and Carole found out their sons were unabashedly breaking the rules at the Hummel-Hudson house" and "The day Burt and Carole found out their sons were active. But at least being safe." (Set during late season 3.)

Kurt was getting very sick of all the people at his dad's reunion when they looked at him like that. Yes, he's Burt Hummel's son. It's not that hard to believe.

The noises of New York were harder for Blaine to deal with than he realized. What happened at McKinley still bothered him. Luckily he has a wonderful man in his life to soothe over his fears. (Set several months after Shooting Star when Blaine has just moved to New York.)

Kurt had looked forward to a moment alone to clean himself up after he was released from the hospital. He never thought taking a simple shower would be so difficult.

Burt just wants to know one thing: Why did Kurt wait so long to tell him? (Early season 1.)
