Hi everyone!

Just a few little things that I'd like to mention if you are brave enough to read through my profile.

Name is PJ. I am not new to the fanfiction world. My other ff screenname, which just happens to be my twitter handle is gcatspjs. You'll note there that I have written for Bones, Castle, Grey's Anatomy, and even started one for Remington Steele (which I apologize hasn't been updated in a LONG time).

However, for this particular venture, I have decided to go it alone. Start off in a new fandom amongst those that I would hope will be as friendly as other fandoms. I have watched every episode of NCIS, and mostly that was done throughout last winter, so I have a fairly fresh view on the characters and the goings on. I, like Gibbs have many rules... though mine typically regard fanfiction, that I feel are very important.

1. These are not your characters, you are borrowing them, be respectful.

2. Never tell your readers everything.

3. Respect me, and you will be respected in return. Disrespect me, and my muse dies, and with it, the story.

4. Updates come when they can.

5. Always have an angle.

My opinions are as follows:

This show is unique because it carries with it the legacy of its characters. It is not by any means simple. Characters have lived, died, and even come back from the dead. It's important to know that ANYTHING is possible... and look forward to it. Grudges shouldn't be held, and people do not to be held accountable. It's entertainment. If you don't like it, don't watch.

Tony/Ziva made a terrific team, they still do even if the character is gone. This show is full of consistencies, and it wouldn't have lasted as long as it has without them. Actors have preferences and lives, and must live them, but the fanfiction world is where we can play until the world can be righted within the television world.

Bishop is a means to an end. She's a filler character, and the writers have held back a lot of her personality for obvious reasons. We want to trust her because Gibbs trusts her, but as the writers have shown, it could be just as easy for her to leave as it was for Delilah to go off to work in Dubai. She's just another pawn in the game, and we will ride out the wave with grace and dignity. If the characters we went aren't there, then we need to just focus on those that are.
