It's time.

My first action after making a very difficult decision was to download the comments in their entirety. Thank you to everyone that took the time to leave your thoughts, opinions, kudos, and theories regarding 'Your Mistress, Captain Butler'. I wish I could have devoted the time necessary to finish this story but...

Please accept my apologies for not being able to follow through to the end. It is a disappointment. I'm now on my second fandom of which I have an infamously abandoned WIP. I suppose it's time to quit while I'm still behind.

Lady K., Thank you for all of your help and support. You were one of the best Betas I've had to pleasure to team up with on a story. BTW, you need to set your creative self free, girl!

As for YMCB, I'll be removing the story within the next few days.

Unlike my P&P story, YMCB has some timeless qualities to the narrative and my hope is that I will shelve it for a later date to be completed. Please feel free to send me a PM for any updates on the story.

I'm really sorry, everyone. RL has been overwhelming for so long and it seems as though I continue to tread water.

As of this post, I have had a number of people ask if I could reveal YMCB's plot and/or other questions that have been left unanswered. I must confess, I am sorely tempted to reveal all—but where is the fun in that? In 2020, GWTW fan groups are still debating MM's ending! ;) Seriously, I still am holding out hope that I may be able to pick up YMCB again and feel I need to keep my options open all the while not forcing the story into a corner.

Thank you for all of your encouragement. I wish I could have completed it for some very wonderful readers. I would also like to congratulate those authors that are able to finish their stories, providing us Windies with entertainment AND closure to My Beloved Skunk and Scarlett's story.
