Author has written 7 stories for Frozen, Hercules, Little Mermaid, Treasure Planet, Aladdin, Thor, and Tangled. I decided to disclose a little for those of you who are curious. I started writing in the sixth grade in the fifties using a mechanical typewriter and since science fiction was big and so were westerns I wrote a lot of those. In the seventh grade I got an honorable mention in a writing contest for one of the westerns. However I then went into chemistry and then school and later family took me away from my love of writing. Then in the eighties I wrote a Star Trek script for the Next Generation with my son as coauthor using a computer. Needless to say it was not bought but that got me going again. I then wrote an unpublished fantasy of about 700 pages. Looking back at it I now realized I needed to really learn the craft which I spent the next few years doing and writing practice stories. Since I have always loved Disney and felt frustrated at some of the endings I began writing sequels or "The Road Not Taken" type stories. Frozen Too, Hercules II, and Return to Treasure Planet are sequels. The Little Mermaid: A Story With a Twist is a what if type story. Writing became easy when I wrote about what I liked which are adventure, fantasy and romance. Then my granddaughter said I should put the fan fictions here. Thank you, Granddaughter. I also realized that without an agent I could publish an Ebook with Amazon. So that's where I'm headed right now while I finish a new fantasy novel; although I plan to continue doing fanfiction. I will soon put out a what if on Aladdin and a new sequel to Frozen Too (Pun: Two and Too sound the same.) as I've received a lot of requests for Frozen Too to continue so I am writing Frozen Free (Free and three? Oh, never mind. I just love puns.) Keep your eyes open as I plan to write a long time for your pleasure and mine. |
