Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.

Hi visitor!

I have been in the Harry Potter fandom for a very long time (2005ish) but it is my first endeavour to write anything in the fandom. My profile is very very blank and I will get around to making it more detailed sometime (eventually...). I hope you all enjoy reading my story, despite how I fumble though it, as I practice my writing. I am not one to talk about myself on a page like this, but if you are interested enough just send me a PM and I will never stop talking at you! On that note, please feel free to PM me about anything! :D

'Insignificant Decisions' status: Chapter 17 should be out by the 7th of June. (21/05)

Poll: Just displaying my great curiosity as to which character you would like to see more of in the future of ID. Basically who you have been enjoying! It may not change anything at all, but I would love to know your thoughts! Of course there are no spoilers, only characters currently introduced.

A few of my favourite quotes:

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

[The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams]

Katara: "Are you saying I'm a liar?"

Sokka: "I'm saying you're an optimist. Same thing, basically."

[Avater: The Last Airbender]

"A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept."

[The Shadow of the Wind, Carlos Ruiz Zafón]

All right," said Susan. "I'm not stupid. You're saying humans need... fantasies to make life bearable."

REALLY? AS IF IT WAS SOME KIND OF PINK PILL? NO. HUMANS NEED FANTASY TO BE HUMAN. TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE.

"Tooth fairies? Hogfathers? Little—"

YES. AS PRACTICE. YOU HAVE TO START OUT LEARNING TO BELIEVE THE LITTLE LIES.

"So we can believe the big ones?"

YES. JUSTICE. MERCY. DUTY. THAT SORT OF THING.

"They're not the same at all!"

YOU THINK SO? THEN TAKE THE UNIVERSE AND GRIND IT DOWN TO THE FINEST POWDER AND SIEVE IT THROUGH THE FINEST SIEVE AND THEN SHOW ME ONE ATOM OF JUSTICE, ONE MOLECULE OF MERCY. AND YET—Death waved a hand. AND YET YOU ACT AS IF THERE IS SOME IDEAL ORDER IN THE WORLD, AS IF THERE IS SOME...SOME RIGHTNESS IN THE UNIVERSE BY WHICH IT MAY BE JUDGED.

"Yes, but people have got to believe that, or what's the point—"

MY POINT EXACTLY.”

[Hogfather, Terry Pratchett]

“Good Morning!" said Bilbo, and he meant it. The sun was shining, and the grass was very green. But Gandalf looked at him from under long bushy eyebrows that stuck out further than the brim of his shady hat.

"What do you mean?" he said. "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?"

[The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien]

“God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players (i.e. everybody), to being involved in an obscure and complex variant of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.”

[Good Omens, Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett]

Insignificant Decisions reviews
Ten year old Harry Potter makes an insignificant decision that changes a lot of other insignificant things, which eventually changes very significant things. Because no matter what, Harry Potter never manages to do things by half measures. (AU from Hogwarts letter onwards, Diary!Tom, preslash/gen)
