Hello there.

My name is Kelly. I started writing fan-fiction as a way to keep writing even when I need space from my major project.
I'm a postgrad student at uni, studying creative writing and literary studies. I know that I'll never make any money out of this in my lifetime, but I love reading and I love writing, and I figure that I would rather fail at something I love than succeed at something I don't care so much about.

Being a full-time writing student, a big part of my life is editing and being edited, so I'd like to think that I have fairly thick skin. My darlings most certainly have been killed. Any feedback is welcomed, though it would be great if it were constructive.

For other writers: my username is a reference to a book for writers called 'Bird by Bird' by Anne Lamott. I named myself this as a reminder to keep writing and everyday. The book is really helpful if anyone wants to order it from a local library.

Also: I'm Aussie, mate. For this reason, my spelling and punctuation might seem a bit off to some readers.
