MODERN. After finally being accepted, and getting to do her last two years of high school at Carolina Boarding High, America is guided by a friendly group and, of course, Maxon. She faces many troubles with certain students and certain guards but she knows her loud and aggressive new friends will have her back as she has theirs. Maxon and America were best friends since the first grade. The summer after the eighth grade America's father gets a new job in LA. That meant that America had to leave everyone and everything. Three years later she goes back to Carolina and the highschool she was to attend with her friends and Maxon. But what she doesn't know is that Maxon had an accident and lost his memory.
