7/10 of my pieces are AU pieces. I prefer the future AU as 3/10of my stories are in that: Forgotten Date, HoS, Weiss Club. Grimmdark and Xekstrin Dragon AU are the other AU's I wrote in with Nevermore and Dragon Tails. I've also written in the Roadtrip AU by weissrabbit with _ is the Perfect Place for _. Current universe stories include Sisters, Days, and Gym Rats.

General Descriptions:

Dragon Tails is an exercise in character development and action and stuff like that. It is basically a self-contained story. It has a decently clear begging, middle, and end complete with rising action, climax, and falling action. Also I use some foreshadowing and symbolism and that junk. Was practice at more complex aspects of writing I guess.

Forgotten Date is 100% fluff. I hint at larger ideas and concepts but they are just there to move the plot along. White Rose.

Sisters is 100% angst. Deals with Yang's conflicted emotions and I try to confront what a lot of other Enabler writers ignore; that incest is generally frowned upon. I have received many compliments on the characterization of Ruby and Yang so if that's your thing.

is the Perfect Place for _. Both of these are essentially the same and should probably be read together with Car Roofs being read first. Both of them focus very heavily on relationship building between Blake and Yang. Both have their issues, and I try to work through them in each fic. Car Roofs is more friendship based. Beach Towns is more romantic in nature.

Weiss Club is an exercise in action scenes for me. I wrote it to brush up on my action scenes. Does have a bit of Freezerburn on accident. Fun read with nothing serious like marriage or incest.

Head of Security is my attempt at creating a short story. While my other pieces are "stories," HoS is the first with a defined antagonist, climax, some back story, and a definitive ending. My highest favorite to view ratio favorite ratio, 1:16.

Nevermore is wicked dark and pretty heavy. Deals with the twisting of Ruby's failings as a leader and has two rather long action sequences. Longest one-shot currently and also the least responded to of my pieces. Not sure why. Maybe Grimmdark AU. Maybe length.

Days is a angsty piece I wrote just after volume 3 ended. I wanted to try and capture how the various characters would react to the events in ways that the show wouldn't portray. As a result, it is fairly dark and entirely emotion based. I personally really enjoy how in Jaune's chapter I used italics to describe the real world and regular font to describe his dreams up until the moment he accepts what happened as best he can. Gives it a fun slice of flavor.

Gym Rats was just me trying to get back into the swing of writing. It had been awhile so I was just stretching. Entirely emotion based and super difficult to write considering my asexuality haha. An okay piece, not my favorite by any means but its something light to read if purrha is your thing.
