Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, Attack on Titan/進撃の巨人, Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, Hobbit, and Hakuōki/薄桜鬼. Okie-dokie! Is this where I'm supposed to talk about myself? Really? Yay! Let's get started... So... Hi! Welcome to my profile. Thank you for clicking on my penname. It really means a lot when someone takes the time to read about me :3 Name: Blaire (not my real name, of course, but it's my internet name for everything ) Gender: Female/lady/girl/woman/lassie Age: I'll give you a hint. Somewhere between 5 and 12,483. Story Statuses Since my updates are rather irregular nowadays, I thought I'd create a little section here on my profile that lets my readers know how I'm doing on my updates. As of right now, I do not plan on abandoning any of my stories, so don't worry :) Simple Gifts: In Progress -Next update: Chapter 13 of ??? -25% finished -Sequel possibility: Ah, I have something in mind, but it might be considered a prequel rather than a sequel. Hmm... In Humanity We Trust: Hiatus -Next update: Chapter 9 of ??? -15% finished Sequel possibility: I don't want to say too much here as it would spoil the ending of this story, but I have an idea. It's only a vague idea though, so as of right now, the possibility of a sequel for this one is low. When We Were Little: In Progress -Next update: Chapter 12 of ??? -10% finished -Sequel possibility: If there's going to be a sequel, it can't really be anything other than just be a retelling of the main Kuroko no Basket story with my OC thrown in there. Considering there are already a lot of things established and canonized after the Teiko years, I don't want to twist the original story up too much by forcing Megumi into the plot. I'm not sure how popular it would be, but I'll think about it perhaps. Flightless: In Progress -Next update: Chapter 5 of ??? -33% finished About My Writing: My main focus for this account is to experiment with OCs and character creation, so most of my stories will have an original character as the main character. I feel that character creation is the weakest point for most young writers, so I really want to get it perfected and matured. When you read my stories, please, please, please don't hesitate to leave advise and constructive criticism about my OC(s). Some of my stories will be challenges with an OC that someone makes up for me, or they may be my own stories with characters that I create by myself. And occasionally, if one is available, I will adopt a story that contains an OC so I know what it feels like to work off of someone else's original character. A Commitment to my Readers I love all my readers to death, and I never want to disappoint them. Do you ever love a story so much and later the author looses interest in the story and ends up abandoning it? Oh, the horror of hearing that you'll never know the ending of the story you were so loyal to. Well, I never want someone to go through that because I know how painful it is, but sometimes authors have a good reason to cancel a story. Maybe they simply don't have time anymore or they feel that they don't have the interest to put that much effort into the chapters anymore. Whatever the case, it's still painful for the readers, so I have a little solution for that should I ever abandon a story. I start all of my stories out with an outline or some kind of idea of how the entire story is going to go. If I ever abandon a story, everyone who has reviewed the last three chapters of the story will receive a PM from me or a document delivery of some sort that sums up where the story would have gone if I had continued it. That way, those who really loved the story and followed it with a passion would not be left hanging. My story(s): -Simple Gifts: This little story is about my OC Cress, who is rather optimistic, bright, and quite oblivious at times. In case the summary wasn't detailed enough, this story is just a retelling of all three parts of Lord of the Rings. Cress accompanies the Fellowship of the Ring and can either drag them down with her innocent and relaxed ways or prop them up when they despair with her childish point of view about everything. Which one will it be? Oh, and I've recently decided to turn it into a Legolas/OC story due to a request from my best friend. Hopefully that goes well :D -In Humanity We Trust: Here I'm writing about an anime! Yay!! This story is about a group of people who are descendants of humans who were denied entry into the Walls when they were first built. It focuses on the unity of the entire human race in order to defeat the Titans, which is something not really addressed in canon. Have a look at it, won't you? -When We Were Little: What do you know? Another story for anime! This one is Kuroko no Basket and deals with an OC of mine who is an absolute hermit. She is extremely non-athletic and makes any excuse possible to stay indoors as much as possible. Well, she ends up going to Teiko Middle School by accident because of a misleading conversation with Momoi and must survive at this ridiculously sports-oriented school for at least a semester. Check it out, okay? -Flightless: I've always liked the idea of fairies in Middle Earth, so the OC in this story is one of the last members of the fairy race. The story follows the Hobbit plotline and extends a little after the Hobbit. It's my first time writing an eventual love triangle, so if you have tips on writing romance like that, leave a review for me :) |
