Hey All!

My name is Alana. I'm a married geek who lives in northern British Columbia.

I spend way too much time watching geeky tv, like Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, and the Vampire Diaries. And rewatching the classics: Firefly, Buffy, BSG, Gilmore Girls, the West Wing, the X-Files and Alias.

I also love period BBC productions, like Pride & Prejudice, North & South, Jane Eyre, and Sense & Sensibility.

So I find Mr. Thornton, standing at the window pleading for the woman he loves to look back at him (just once!), just as sexy as Klaus covered in the blood of the 12 hybrids he just killed.

I listen to far too many types, styles, and eras of music to list. Right now I'm really digging 'The Devil's Backbone' by The Civil Wars. It just screams 'Klaroline' to me.

The Vampire Diaries, specifically Klaroline, has brought me back to writing. Until now I've just been a voracious reader of FF, but I'm excited to have my creative juices flowing again!

New Update: So…quick apology to all my readers. I know it's been a long time since I've updated, but pregnancy was a real kick in the butt and my priorities in life changed significantly. But I am going to try to re-prioritize my writing and update soon. It will likely still be a few weeks, I have a few other obligations in the next couple weeks, but I am going to do my best to get back into the swing of things for Just Another Face in the Crowd. Thank you all for your support and kind words of encouragement!

Also, for those of you interested in a prequel or sequel to 'I believe you', I don't have any plans to continue that story at this point. I won't say never, but I always intended it to be a one-shot.
