I hate my name, and am definitely changing it when I can. Still have no idea what to change it to, but I have a few ideas.

I'm not very close with my family. I'm way closer with my friends, who get me a lot more. My parents don't really know me, however much they think they do. I've been through a lot more than my friends know, so I don't like getting too personal.

I enjoy being alone most of the time. People don't seem to get me, and my motives. I moved away from my childhood friends during the summer of 6th grade year, so it wasn't as bad as it might have been, but I still only knew two people. One was my ex's best friend, the other was someone I never talked to, but I knew fairly well. It goes unsaid that I didn't approach them.

I ended up making friends with a few people, but I never connected with them on a high level. I had a different friends to talk with about different things, so no one person knows everything about me.

Now I am now in high school, and have been reunited with my elementary school friends. I hate every single one of them. They changed into different people, which are completely crazy. I'm crazy too, but not that crazy. Maybe if I was there when they changed, I could still have been friends with them. But now I can't stand to be around them. One disrespected me in front of their friends, and I refused to talk to them since. They don't seemed to care. I choose to hang out with my friends from middle school, who aren't fakes and wanna-be's.

Well, that's my sad, messed up life. I figured you might as well know my back story if you're going to read my stories. I made sure to not say too much, in case one of you people reading this is a stalker, but enough for people I know that want to find me to know that it's me. Thank you.

I love poetry. Good poetry, not the pieces of crap people call, "Poetry" because they think all poetry is crap. I had to do a poetry project recently, and I found a really awesome one, so I'm going to start posting my favorite ones. Who knows, maybe you'll like them too. I'll post Name, Author, and a short summary of why I like them.

What course of life should wretched mortals take?

In courts hard questions large contentions make:

Care dwells in houses, labor in the field,

Tumultuous seas of frighting dangers yield.

In foreign lands thou never canst be blessed;

If rich, thou art in fear; if poor, distressed.

In wedlock frequent discontentment's swell;

Unmarried persons as in deserts dwell.

How many troubles are with children born;

Yet he that wants them counts himself forlorn.

Young men are wanton, and of wisdom void;

Gray hairs are cold, unfit to be employed.

Why would not one of these two offers choose,

Not to be born, or breath with speed to lose?

I found this one during a project for English. It talks about all the troubles of life, and then asks you a question: would you rather live through all of that, or not live at all?

I find that question difficult. I'm not suicidal, thank you! Life is there to challenge you, and push you to your breaking point. I do feel like I'm there, but anyways...

It was translated from Greek to English, so some of the meaning is lost, but I still love it. Only if I knew Greek...
