Author has written 17 stories for Bleach, Naruto, Attack on Titan/進撃の巨人, Kuroshitsuji, Code Geass, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, Warhammer, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. I update slowly as hell. I also have a bad habit of posting chapters unedited the moment they're done. Sorry about that. Now, with far more one-shots! 8/14/14: Honestly, I'm probably never going to finish Reflection. I had some great ideas for it, and I still have an outline for the story, but I just wrote it too fast, messed up some important things, and I'm not happy with my character development. I might put up an outline for the rest of the story online, so people can at least see where it was going if they want to. I think it would have been better as a collection of snippets, like Sideline Leaders is, since I honestly wasn't going to diverge from cannon that much. The biggest difference was character development, but I already screwed the pooch on that one, so yeah. As for Maybe God Was On Drugs, in all honesty that story might never be updated. I'm kind of writing it in reverse order, and I want to have a full outline of that before I write it. Honestly, that one's going to update really slowly. Everything I write updates slowly, but MGwoD is the kind of story that updates maybe once a year. Also, my interest in the Naruto fandom comes and goes, along with my interest in this story. Just a heads-up, so anybody who's interested knows. 2017: That "Correct the AU as we go along." Thing: Okay, so I'm doing a thing. It's a self-created writing challenge (though if you want to do the same thing/something similar be my guest so long as you don't copy-paste my work). Put simply I start by writing a For-Want-Of-A-Nail AU fanfic whose basic premise can be simplified into one sentence. Then whenever something in cannon happens to contradict my fanfic (ex hidden character traits revealed, circumstances change), I go and write a new fanfic with the same one-sentence premise, only now it's cannon-compliant with the information we have so far on the show. One important thing to know about this challenge is that not every story will be in the same continuity. This is partially because by it's nature if something I wrote Yusaku doing in the story I wrote for, say, episode 1 gets proven OOC in episode 6, I want the story written for episode 6 to be cannon-compliant even though the one for episode 1 isn't. The other reason is so I can have fun exploring different interpretations of this very vague AU, having the characters be happy with their situation in the first story and unhappy in the second, for example. Or watch the same event unfold in two different ways due to the circumstances of the AU (1 and 2 again). Or have a character be on one side of a conflict in one story, and on a different side in another. You can headcannon any combination of stories to exist in the same continuity if you want, this is just an explanation of my writing patterns. Some of them were inspired by previous writings in this series, so it makes sense some works might seem similar. With any luck I'll get at least halfway through season one- although I have classes incoming and likely will have little time, I hope I can keep going for at least a little while. As of now, all new works of this challenge will be published on this site in the compilation piece, "Lost Children." |
