Dyth da from the unfashionable blue-green western end of the UK. I'm forties, female and have been writing since I can't remember. Despite that, I've come to on-line fan-fiction relatively late in life, which is why you might see a rather... eclectic mix of stories appearing here over the next few months. I'm on a mission to finish all the varied and random half-filled notebooks that I've got lying around, and get them posted. (It will probably be a very s..l..o..w moving mission, due to real life commitments). Once I've caught up, I'll be hoping to get back to my natural habitats of fantasy and swash-buckling: I like swords, ships, woodsmoke, mountains, hairy blokes in leather...

Oh, and a word of warning: I do gender-bend a bit sometimes - have done ever since I was Jemima Hawkins climbing the masthead tree in my parents' garden, for in those days how else did a straight lass play herself into the story, when in the kind of stories she preferred, the heroes were always boys? It's a small part of what I do, the majority of my stories do not contain any such shenanigans, but I know many people dislike it - believe me, I quite understand your reservations - and I will always give fair warning in the summary. No Likey, No Read.

This is, of course, a hobby. I don't own anything, and if just one person enjoys reading my stories an umpteenth as much as I enjoy writing them, well then, that's a bonus.
