Author has written 25 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Father Ted, Batman, Star Wars, Batman: Arkham Asylum, EastEnders, Avenue Q, Frozen, Columbo, Sleepy Hollow, Discworld, Mamma Mia!, Shrek, Neighbours, Cats, NCIS, Phantom of the Opera, Fallout, and Monty Python.

I write whatever strange tales enter my head. Sometimes it's a drawn out story, other times it's a short tale. The majority of my random witterings can be found on FictionPress as they're based on the floating wibbly things in my brain. The gubbins here takes in a tour of Batman, Mamma Mia!, Dragonball Z, Shrek, Father Ted and a few other odd places.

I must go where my somewhat deranged muse leads me, for it is a fickle and much travelled duck. One day it'll get a collar and a GPS tag. Usually my muse points out the generally ignored side and incidental characters who lurk in films and games.

It should also be said that I'm not above adding to/fiddling with stories that are labelled "complete". If an idea occurs to me one dark and stormy night, then I have to see where it mooches off to.

For those interested, very bored or with too much time on their hands, here is a bit about me.

Age (see 'Big Hairy Lies')

934 give or take a few Jovian years.

Interests:

Writing weird tales, daft songs and peculiar poetry, listening to music, playing guitar & harmonica and ukulele, painting, singing, computer games and stuff.

Influences:

Primarily silliness, but also just about anything I read or hear probably,

This is the Fictionpress List:

Rosie Jackson, Terry Pratchett, Lisa Swerling, Ralph Lazar, Grant Naylor (I know), Douglas Adams, Tom Holt, Tom Clancy, Spike Milligan, That M. Python crowd, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Mary Gauthier, Stephen Fry, Nanci Griffith, The late great Kirsty MacColl, Hayao Miyazaki, Elmore Leonard , The DORC podcast, the writers of Dangermouse and many others.

For FanFiction I'll add:

Red Dwarf, the works of Richard O'Brien, Dragonball (Z, GT and the like), West End/Broadway/Hollywood musicals, GTA, Bat Man, Fallout, various RPGs of a fantasy nature, Rumiko Takahashi, Lisa Scott-Lee, the bloke that wrote the LP liner notes on Deep Heat records and Ludwig Ledbury (yes, he of Zero Magazine)

Big hairy and very daft Lies:

For the interests in continuing the sillines of the stuff I write...

Ealing was founded by Chico Marx in 1672, Galileo liked to chuck peanuts at the Vatican, Bernard Cribbins invented football while doodling, The boiling point of paper is somewhere near Chipping Sodbury, The international Space Station likes peach jam, The Speed of Sound at ground level on the ISO standard day is 15 miles per decade, One Direction was created by Charlie Watts specifically to annoy Mick Jagger, There is a small hyperactive vole at the centre of Jeremy Corbyn, The ST Bernard Dog has a near magnetic attraction to polos, Jimmy Carr is an operatic tenor of professional standard (to be honest, he could be and simply doen't like to show it. Or his singing ability), Basingstoke was designed by Neptune after a night snorting washing powder.

Worthwhile stuff of note:

Some stories will be exceedingly silly, others not so. The Star Bar Wars thing is a re-write as I lost the original years ago: the first one was way better. There may one day be a Nanny McPhee story, but its a long way off being anything legible. The Mormote Force thing might get itself deleted due to me not being bothered, and due to its rubbishness.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - Rated: K - English - Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 840 - Published: 8/19/2019 - Robin/Tim Drake, OC
Apres Protocol 10
Set just after Arkham City, this is about a mob boss working out what to do next. I'm currently working out where to take it. As a side note, it was originally written with Two Face as the boss, but as I'd not included much coin action, he got swapped for 'Chico'. This may be rewritten a tad before it's taken any further: there might be a minor textual paradox or something.

The Rite reviews
This story concerns one of the wizarding world's least popular (especially amongst the older wizards) practices and how it may have come about. It's a work in progress and hopefully will make more sense as it goes on. maybe. There's a bit in part four that doesn't make sense. It may need beating with a sycamore branch.

The Problematic Henchman
In Neighbours there was a criminal type called Dennis Dimato. Early in his dodgy career he visited the ol' USA. His location he chose poorly. This has now been vaguely expanded to include some actual dialogue for young Dennis.

A Noble Quest reviews
A short tale of a previous attempt to rescue the fire breathing pain-in-the-neck from the dragon. The story has now been further upgraded and a 3rd chapter has appeared. This is the ancient folk song version of the tale! It's called 'A Knight So Bold'. The tune in my head is in Dm and is similar to Greensleeves. Good luck with it at folk nights.
Shrek - Rated: K+ - English - Humor/Adventure - Chapters: 3 - Words: 1,236 - Reviews: 1 - Favs: 1 - Updated: 2/16/2016 - Published: 12/26/2015 - Princess Fiona, Dragon, OC - Complete
Weary Travellers reviews
Set shortly after the events on Kalokairi, this involves two familiar faces having a drink. While it is labeled 'complete' it may become more complete in the future. There is a vague Round the Horne reference and a less vague Father Ted reference.

The Bat has decided to pay a visit to the Joker, but not for the usual reasons. I've adapted 'Super Criminal Blues', which starred Penguin and Catwoman (With a letter from the Riddler) into part 2. There is now a part 3 starring ol' Green-hat the Riddler.

Espionage
Two agents are sent to find out about Anna and Elsa. The title is up for change, if only I could think of something better. The bit with the sprouts is a lie: they're popular with no-one. At all. Anywhere. It should be noted that I'm trying to be very careful writing Oaken's dialogue. It's not easy to get him speaking in my head. The Criminologist in Rocky H was way easier.
Frozen - Rated: K - English - Drama/Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 969 - Published: 4/9/2015 - Oaken, OC

A little tale exploring what the Bad Idea Bears could be. It may get expanded a bit somewhen: who knows?

The Phantom goes Cockney
Previously on Fictionpress, this is a silly parody of Joel Schumacher's Phantom of the Opera film. Inspired by Bill Bailey's cockney intro routine, it mixes Eastenders and the Phantom into one big mess. Dont expect this to be sensible. It's not so much a crossover, it's more of a crash. I will soon attack and attempt to de-error chapters 4 & 5

Whatever Happened to the Mormote Force?
We've all heard of Ginyu and his mates, but was that the only attack squad in Frieza's army? This is a work in progress and certainly isn't complete. We're now into fight territory as Guldo takes on Hahm. I admit the concept is probably good, but the execution (ho-ho-ho) is rubbish. I'm not carrying this on as it is very poor. Sorry for wasting your time.
