END OF JULY UPDATE

There were two chapters I thought would be posted by now, but were delayed due to an unexpected trip I had to take last week. They're mostly finished, and will be out as soon as I'm happy I haven't totally rushed them. I'm very sorry that updates have been taking so long, but please know that I am working on them, and intend to up the ante over the summer.

Needless to say, I'm a fan of Team Rocket. I don't know why that side of Pokemon is so intriguing to me, but I'd guess it has something to do with the juxtaposition of a happy, almost utopian world with the gritty criminal side of things. The fact that even in a kids' show some characters end up joining criminal syndicates for one reason or another is wonderfully disturbing. And, of course, I love the individual personalities of Jessie, James and Meowth. They've always been my favourites.

I'm also very fond of Butch and Cassidy (their interactions with one another never fail to amuse) , and also Looker, for some reason I'm not sure I can fully explain.

Update News/ Upcoming stories

As always, I apologise for the lack of updates. Part of it is to do with my health, but I'm also working on some projects outside of fanfiction that have been taking up more spare time. Everything will get finished, though; I certainly haven't given up on anything! For the most part, updates will come out at the same speed as usual- I just thought I ought to explain in case there are any delays.

Current Story Summaries

MOTA (Mystery on the Albatross) is your typical 'whodunnit'- just a murder mystery on a cruise ship I wrote for the hell of it. Not too dark, but a little violent and strong language. If you read this, please be a little patient with the first few chapters (that goes for a lot of my other stories too), because I wrote them quite a while ago. Needs some major editing, which I hope to get around to soon.

Twerps, Team Rocket and a Boating Contest- Old. Old old old. May read as a little childish, as A wrote it a long time ago and it was my first real fic. In desperate need of re-writing; I don't think I'll do that, for the sake of being true to my 14-year-old self, but I will eventually try to post some sort of finale.

When We Were The Heroes- Old. This is a bonus scene from MOTA, and takes place the night before the mission. It's about James' backstory- the bike gang and how he ended up at Team Rocket. I know there are already a lot of backstory fics, but I really wanted to write this one. I've tried to keep it as original as possible, but sorry if there are any similarities to other stories (they all follow the same basic canon plot, so it's hard to make it completely different).

If Skies Should Fall- Sort of an AU, but nothing changed as far as the past is concerned, or any supernatural stuff/ character changes. It's essentially a dark "what if". I should probably mention, it's a very strong T rating for a lot of swearing. Probably won't be too long, depends on how much content each chapter takes up.

I do have a couple of other stories, but I don't have much to say about them that's not already in the summaries below.

Other Uninteresting Stuff

My writing style seems to change (hopefully for the better) quite quickly, so apologies if first chapters aren't up to scratch. I hope you'll give them a chance nonetheless.
