Hello fans of writing.

What follows below is a long and irrelevant discussion of my life. Read it or don't, I suppose.

My name is Douglas and I'm going to do something with my life. Most people call me Doug, but I appreciate either. Sometime in the future I would like to spend years of my life as a television writer, but currently that's a little far down the road. For the time being I'll stick to writing short stories and fan fictions, which are a personal hobby of mine. I live in the USA, and love it here. My interests include writing, camping, running, fighting games, skiing, listening to music, bowling, sleeping, attending live concerts, and over-analyzing unimportant details of life. Anyway, I've been on the site for about 5 years now, but currently I only have three Fanfics out; two about Tekken and one about Pokemon. Only my one Tekken story is active right now, but maybe one day I'll update my old Pokemon story, cause I really liked the plans I used to have for that one.

I believe that my opinions hold no weight at all, but I see that a lot of other writers include their favorite topics in their bios, so I guess I'll tell you mine too.

My favorite game of all time is (arguably) Tekken Tag Tournament 2, although nowadays I mostly play Tekken 7. Other games I like are Civilization V, COD Black Ops 2, COD Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Star Wars:Empire at War, Pokemon Gold/Leaf Green/Ruby/Emerald/Pearl/White 2/X, Skyrim, Fortnite, and of course, Super Smash Bros Melee. Melee might be the greatest video game ever made, and although I am truly BAD, I enjoy every minute of that game like nothing else(I main Captain Falcon).

My favorite band of all time is Brand New, and I love their music like nothing else on the face of the earth. I cannot recommend them enough. Currently I listen to a lot of heavy metal... like body crushing screams and bleeding eardrum-type heavy metal, even though at heart I will always be an emo pop-punk kid. Other artists that I like in no particular order are Code Orange, Phoenix, My Chemical Romance, STRFKR, Crystal Castles, Death Cab for Cutie, Led Zeppelin, Neutral Milk Hotel, Ghost, Gorillaz, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Knife, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Whitest Boy Alive, Avenged Sevenfold, Willow Beats, Gojira, Animals as Leaders, La Dispue, and Between the Buried and Me. In case you haven't guessed by now, I dig pretty much every type of music. And yes, that includes classical.

Pokemon was my first and possibly biggest fandom. My favorite Pokemon are as follows; Rayquaza, Blaziken, Xatu, Exeggutor, and Haxorus. I've played almost every main series Pokemon game to date, and aside from a few questionable ones here and there, I pretty much love all 700-something Pokemon. More recently however, I have been immersing myself in Tekken culture. My favorite character is Kazyuya Mishima because not only is he a straight-up badass, but I also relate with his character's solitude a lot, and always play as him in the games. My second favorite is Kunimitsu, whom I am subconsciously in love with, but I digress. Anyway, my other favorite characters include Heihachi Mishima, Jin Kazama, Anna Williams, Sergei Dragunov, and Jun Kazama. My least favorite Tekken character is Hwoarang, whom I dislike with a burning passion. Anyone who has ever played TTT2 knows what I'm talking about when I say that he is the cheapest and most overpowered piece of shit to ever appear in a fighting game(He's not as bad in T7 but still). I know that Hwoarang is supposed to be this bad boy heartthrob that all the girls on this website like, but I honestly cannot stand him in the slightest. I'm sorry. His personality bothers me as well, but not as much as it used to. In addition to Hwoarang, I also dislike Eddy Gordo, Christie Montiero, Baek Doo San, and Forest Law, based on the grounds that they are way too overpowered and contribute very little to the story of Tekken at all.

What shippings do I support? Fuck if I know. Kazuya and Jun seem pretty good together in almost every situation, but for the other characters it would have to depend on the circumstances.
