Author has written 4 stories for Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Fullmetal Alchemist, Blood+, and Eyeshield 21. Hello, fellow interneters! This is Gridey, aka Emily, speaking; and I would like to formally welcome you to this little corner of the internet, a place where I babble about myself for a few paragraphs and post homoerotic porn... Enjoy! Well, briefly, I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and am a university student in my early twenties. This isn't my first venture into the world of fanfiction, in fact I have another account on this very site from my younger teenage years, but I refuse to tell anyone the username for fear that people may go read my earlier stories and subsequently laugh me off the internet. I've been writing for a long, long time; I've been writing well for... not so long a time. I don't have much more to say, except that I consider myself to be a friendly and relatively sociable individual (internet friends count as real friends, right?), so if you want to review my stories, want ME to review YOUR story, want to give me a story prompt, just want to chat - I'm always open to a friendly PM. I don't like flames, however. Constructive criticism I'm all for, though even that may leave me in a crippled ball of selfdeprecating angst for a few days - but I always recover from the shock to the ego eventually and fix whatever mistakes/inconsistencies the reviewer has pointed out to me. Flames, though, make me stay in my little self-hate ball a little longer. I'm a fragile buttercup. Don't wound me. Oh, and for those of you who have read this far, I'm also interested in finding a beta reader. I'm a notorious procrastinator, so while I think my grammar, syntax etc. is fine, I'd appreciate someone who I can bounce ideas off and who will kick my butt into gear when it's been months and I'm still saying I'll update 'tomorrow'. Actually beta reader is probably not the right term for that kind of work - you'd be like a 'pre-reader', or even better, a 'bullshit-detector'. I'll be scouring beta profiles for people, but you can also feel free to contact me for a 'bullshit-detector' position if you're interested. Well, everything having been said, go now, and enjoy my brainchildren! |
