Author has written 4 stories for Covenant, Veronica Mars, and Supernatural. One would think that in my line of work, I'd be more than happy to talk about myself. On most occasions, that's entirely true. But here I get to escape from the every day demand. I get to enjoy the wonders of anonymity. I'm free to express myself fully, without having to weigh every word I say or worrying whether some obscure soul will find fault with me. That's the beauty of the written word. It's the very root of imagination. With words, we can paint pictures. We get to go off on grand adventures through space and time. We get to have passionate love affairs that end in that long sought 'happily ever after'. We are heroes, villains, soldiers, saviors, poets, dreamers, and lovers. Within the blessed realm of the imagination, we are whoever we want to be. If you're asking yourself just what it is I do, I'm not going to tell you. Let's just say I'm living my wildest dreams, dreams that I once believed impossible, and leave it at that. Okay, that having been said, this is where I climb up on my soap box and preach. Don't let anyone rob you of your dreams. The standard 2.5 kids and white picket fence aren't for everyone. Don't allow society to stuff you into a mold and tell you that's who you have to be. If you have a dream, pursue it. Give it everything you've got, until you either achieve it or that passion runs it course. Either way, you've given it your best shot. Don't settle for 'what if'. Life is meant to be lived. No regrets. Period. Cheers! |
