So I've come to the conclusion that I should probably put a bit about my little ol self up. However, I have no clue what to put, so here's the basics. US born and raised and I've lived all over but I kind of grew up in Georgia (hence my occasional use of y'all). I don't often speak in a southern accent unless in the south or sometimes with my best friend--who is Michigan born and raised but we're both dialect chameleons and somehow end up with southern drawls when we talk for a significant amount of time. Anyway...like I said, I've been all over but I have an extremely supportive family, even over long distances, so I've gotten through all right.

Speaking of family! My parents have been married over thirty years and they're amazing, a true example to live by and my older brother is my best friend, despite the four year and several hundred mile gap. I have a miniature aussie-doodle puppy who is freaking adorable and I miss her constantly while I'm at school (oh, yeah, I'm in college, nursing major, jr year, clinicals are ridiculous basically always but I love it hence my OC is a nursing student). I used to have shelties but they unfortunately passed away after living a wonderful 13.5 and 14.5 years.

Friends--I've got them all over the country, though a lot of them I'm related to--either cousins or second cousins. Blood is thicker than water right? But yeah, I have school friends, and friends in each of the states I've lived in and they're all pretty wonderful. My roomie introduced me to Psych last year and needless to say I instantly became obsessed--I actually watched like 3 seasons in maybe two weeks with my aforementioned friend from Michigan.

Why am I writing fanfic you ask?

Well, I have an original book that I started in high school and I've worked on that over the years, but (don't laugh, this seriously happened) I had a couple dreams where I was Shawn's sister in Psych and decided that would be kind of fun to write. A few character tweaks later Spencer 'Kate' Jones was born! I think I was vaguely aware of FanFiction, but I never really read it until a couple midnight insomnia internet randomness and I decided it would be kinda cool to publish. And then you started commenting and I realized I LOVED it. Seriously, when I'm super stressed I write and when I get reviews it brightens my week/day/hour. Anyway, I started writing Shules fics after SKJ got rollin' and Second Chances just evolved from that.

Hobbies/interests?

Well, I don't have much free time. Obviously I write FF and my original book, but I actually love photography. I also read and watch tv or just hang out with friends--though most of my social life consists of studying with friends or watching shows (Psych, The Office, Lost, Twin Peaks, Back in the Game) with friends because I lack energy to do anything else. Anyway, I wouldn't trade my life.

Why the T rating for SKJ?

Honestly, I just didn't know what to rate it as, but I knew there would be blood and I figured the littles shouldn't read that. And the lack of language and smut or whatever is because, as a Christian, I don't really want to promote that. However, I try to keep my writings as close to in character as possible, so in really intense moments I'm cool with the occasional language.

Ummm, so yeah, that's me in brief? I'll probably edit this when I'm not rolling on, like, 6 hours of sleep.
