Meanwhile, Ward worked to rid himself of any emotional attachments and forget the past that seemed to follow him everywhere. The team are uneasy since Skye got shot and although she's recovering, tensions are running high, even if it is just supposed to be an intel op. After losing a bet both participants wanted him to win, Dick struggles to adjust to his new situation as his family and friends desperately search for the missing boy. As time passes, all he can wonder is why and if he and his new friends will ever be found.

So, I've seen a couple of stories where Skye finds Ward, but what would happen if Fitz found Ward instead... Basically 12 year old Leo finds 17 year old Grant in the woods and tries to put things right.

A speculation piece for AOS season 4 ep. 3 "Uprising." Fitz is taken right out of Coulson's van, but Jemma isn't taking it lying down. In fact, everyone is about to realize that nothing will stand in her way to ensure the safety of her boyfriend.

It was no coincidence that Leo Fitz found his way onto Phil Coulson's team, was rescued by Fury, and has been surrounded by Shield's top agents. Shield was charged to protect him. HYDRA develops a solution very similar to the one that made Captain America, and uses it on a member of Coulson's team. Their target is someone specific on Coulson's team, but at the last moment someone takes her place; Fitz. He becomes their super soldier. He is the corrupted shield.

The Evil has returned to Earth, and decides it needs FitzSimmons' help. But when Fitz is kidnapped, it's up to Jemma to unravel the plot and maybe confront some of the consequences of the recent events along the way. Jemma plans to finish her studies and travel to see the world and help people. Fitz wants to finish his studies and go back home to do good for his country. It's all planned out. But once they meet and get to know each other, things start to shift in a completely unexpected direction...

When Fitz finds a way to open the Monolith to save Will, the team works together to bring back the man saved Jemma even if it causes major emotional confusion and heartache for the young scientists. Things get worse when Ward and His Hydra goons are after the team, specifically Jemma and Fitz to figure out how they opened the portal, putting out scientists in grave danger.

Working undercover at Hydra affected Simmons more than anyone realized. When the truth is revealed, she will either succumb to the devastating consequences of the experience or rise anew in the aftermath. There is just one problem: genius is often a precursor to madness, and the only thing she now knows about herself with absolutely certainty is that her mind is a terrifying place.

Lincoln doesn't really know Fitz, nor Simmons. But what he does know, however, is that Simmons has been limping and clutching her stomach when she thinks no one's looking. As the team goes after May and Hunter, Fitz and Jemma stay behind at The Playground with Jemma still not up to being back in the field and still unable to cope with distractions. When The Playground is attacked, however, Fitz and Simmons must escape from the hold of an old enemy. Takes place after 3x03.

Taking some time off from work, Agent Fitz and Simmons get ready for their European adventure. Unknown to them Hydra are hot on their heel.

Fitz learns the Kree Stone that took Simmons is an ancient doorway that chooses to send people where they're most needed. Frustration builds as it refuses to change form, though Fitz believes it will take him to her, because the only place he needs to be is by her side. Where is she? Simmons tries to figure out her own situation and return in time to warn others of a hidden threat.

Jemma Simmons is not here. Not anymore, at least. She is a wisp, a dream, nothing more than a fragment conjured from Fitz's vivid imagination and sharp memory. And yet she is still very much here, capable of her own thoughts and actions and emotions.

Simmons has been missing for four months, and it's taken a huge toll on the entire team. Even though they're still searching, everyone but Fitz is beginning to accept that they might just have to figure out how to move on without Jemma.
